Missing them

Once all the pack was back at the house we decided to order pizza because who doesn't love pizza. We had to order a large pizza for each of us because we are werewolf's and all have a huge appetite. We talked and laughed for a few hours before Stacy started to zone out.

I looked at her and asked "are you alright Stacy". All the pack stopped talking to look at Stacy. She didn't answer. Jack clicked his hand in her face "stacyyyyyy... you in there".  She still didn't answer. Suddenly, my dad sternly said "STACY" all the pack jumped at his alpha voice including Stacy. "y...yeah" she stuttered.

"You okay..." I asked. She just smiled at me and quickly said " yeah... yeah I'm fine... I just... zoned out". The pack just left it and carried on talking and laughing but I saw my mum look at her uneasily.. 'she must of read her mind' I thought. I just dismissed the thought and carried on.

*11:00 pm*
We have just said goodbye to the rest of the pack and mum said she was going to bed while max and dad stay downstairs to watch some television.
I followed mum upstairs and knocked on her bedroom door. I heard her say "come in" so I did and I walked in to see her sat on her bed so I sat down next to her.

" I know what your thinking" she looked at me " you want to know what actually happened to Stacy because you saw me read her mind... correct?" I nodded. She sighed then looked down "she did just zone out but when I was reading her mind there was something else there like another presence that was keeping me out of her head". We both sat silently until I spoke "what should we do?" She ran a hand through her hair and whispered "i don't know" she then stood up and walked over to the window looking out of it "I'll talk to dad about it but for now it stays between us, agreed?". I sighed then nodded " agreed" . I walked out of the room and did my night routine before laying under the covers and drifting to sleep.

*next day*
I walked downstairs all dressed and ready for the day and greeted my family. My mum passed me a plate of toast and kissed my forehead. I told her thanks and then sat down to eat breakfast with my family.

After breakfast I went upstairs so I could FaceTime my old family. I FaceTimed mum first and she answered luckily dad and Sam were already there. "Hello!" I shouted down the phone. They all laughed and then greeted me back. I talked to them for a bit and then suddenly Sam asked if they could see me as a wolf so I nodded and propped my phone up on my window ledge so they could see me.

I changed over into my wolf, feeling a slight pain as always. I looked at the camera and shone my eyes making them stare in awe. I mentally smiled and changed back grabbing the camera. Sam just sat there with his mouth wide open, when he suddenly stated "My sisters a badass!". We all chuckled and I told them I had to go and that I would visit soon. I ended the call and quickly scrolled through my contacts to find Sarah's contact. I FaceTimed her and she ended it that's weird. So I called Rachel but she did the same. 'Okay now I'm confused' I thought . I suddenly got a text from the group chat with all three of us in. I opened to see a text from Sarah which said

"why are you contacting us you weirdo just leave us alone you freak!"

That hurt. I felt my eyes tear up as I tried to hold them back. What happened to them?
