-Abby's pov-
It was the weekend when I went into the bakery I worked at during the weekends only to be greeted by Lina (my boss/mother figure) with her excited yelling "OMG YOUR HERE! HURRY GET DRESSED IN THIS COSTUME!" Lina excitedly yelled while throwing fluffy fabric my way. I couldn't help but to release a giggle as I went to the employee bathroom and changed, she was always making me dress in the cutest things and I honestly loved it. This time it was a adorable bunny costume that was able to hide all if my scars and bruises perfectly (she looked like this).

I grabbed the little order booklet from beneath the counter and went to the table that held two customers. One was a Canadian who looked scruffy looking and he had a fucking polar bear next to him!!! I wanted to sequel from the adorableness, I've always wanted to pet one maybe this guy would let me if I asked him politely later. As for the other customer he was hidden behind our menu as I walked up to them. With the most cheerful voice I could muster  I said "welcome to Lina's Bakery today our special is the bunny sunday if you buy one you get to sit with one of our bunny waitresses of your choosing how may I help you this fine morning?" I said with a bright smile. "Yes I'll have the pumpkin pancakes and a blueberry surprise for my polar bear" I quickly wrote it down and turned to the man across from him. "What about you love what can I get you?" I asked. The guy placed the menu on the table and to my horror it was Oliver. I swear to the cupcake God that the world just didn't like me. "I'll have the bunny sunday poppet" I winced before yelling out "LINA WE HAVE AN ORDER OF THE BUNNY SUNDAY!" the next thing I knew she was next to me with a wide smile. "As Abby gets your orders which bunny waitress would you like to sit with today" as I was walking away I heard him reply with the name "Abby"  while flashing Lina his winning smile before I went to gather the orders and deliver them to the customers. It only took 20 minutes before I was heading back to the table of doom with Lina still talking to them. "Here are your orders I hope you enjoy" I smiled trying to make a run for it but was quickly stopped by Lina grabbing my tray and order pad while forcing me to sit next to Oliver. CURSE YOU LINA! I mentally screamed before she left me with a smirk. "Why poppet I had no idea you worked here" Oliver said looking at me with a smile. If this wasn't work I would have shoved his sunday right in his face "I'm pretty sure I have a good idea why you didn't know" I grumbled wishing more than anything that I could leave "please poppet I just want to say im sorry and start on a clean slat please" he begged. "No" I said sternly "please" "no" "pretty please with cupcakes on top" "no" "how about with cherries?" "Okay" "really?" "No" "sweet sugar maples will you two stop this already!" We looked at the male across from us in silence. My cheeks burned with embarrassment "my apologies sir, I should have left my personal life out of my professional life I hope I haven't caused you much discomfort" I said bowing my head making my rabbit ears drop a bit. "N-n-no it's not you I just don't like the idea of pops fighting with someone its unnatural for him and out of character" he said. I looked at him for  moment and realized he called Oliver pops... I've never heard someone call their friends pop before. "Well Oliver you have exactly three minutes left of my time before I have to get back to work" I said a smile on my face. The further from him I could be the better. "Please poppet I'll do anything for your forgiveness, I don't know why I hurt you all these years but I want to make things right" his words touch me somewhere in my heart. I shook my head no "you can't fix with what's already been broken and in this case that would be me" as I finished my sentence my watch beeped telling me to get back to work. I stood up and bowed to Oliver as was the custom to bow to the person who bought the daily special. For the rest of the work day I avoided that table and tended to the other's waiting for my shift to end. But in the back of my mind I couldn't help but wonder if it was possible for me to actually forgive Oliver?
