Girl Problems ( Eventually Jimin x Reader)

Court Problems

A week went by and it was court time. So many negative thoughts where going through my mind. I just hope we win.
"You ready?" My mom asked. I nodded. My mom came up and hugged me. I guess she saw the nervous look on my face.
"It'll be fine [Y/N]." She said.
I once again nod my head. We then head out to the car and drove to the court house. Jimin and Tae were also coming because they're witnesses.
We arrived at the court house and took our seats next to our lawyer. A few minutes later the judge came and sat up front. We did the whole "all rise" thing when she came in.
She sat down and started speaking.
"You can be seated." She announced and we all sat.
"We here to day because Miss Rae is being charged with assault with a weapon and being sued with emotional distress by Miss [Y/N]. Can you tell me what happened, starting with the defendant." She spoke.
Rae's lawyer stood up.
"My client here was harassed by the plantiff for a long time. The harassing eventually got to the point where Rae didn't feel safe. So she carried her father's gun with her as protection. When the harassing started again Miss [Y/N] put her hands on her and so Rae took action, but missed."
Are you serious?
The lawyer sat down.
"Is this true Miss Rae." The judge asked.
Rae nodded.
"Ok now for the plantiff's side of the story."
Our lawyer then stood up.
"Your honer. This young lady here was the one being harassed by the defendant. She didn't do anything to the defendant with out reason. We even have evidence to show that Miss [Y/N] was the victim. The defendant was filled with jealousy because Miss [Y/N] and her friend were close. That will be all." He sat back down.
"Well. I'm going to let both side argue. Show evidence, call witness, we're starting with the defendant." The judge said.
"The defense cause [Y/N] [L/N] to the stand."
My heart stopped as soon as I heard my name. I hesitantly get up, walk over, and sat in the stand. I looked out to the audience and see Jimin and Tae. Jimin looked at me with a reassuring look. That made me calm down a little bit.
"Now Miss [L/N]. I have a question. Aren't you prone to having anger attacks?" He asked.
"Please explain?"
"Meaning do you have a short fuse?"
I freeze up and don't say anything.
"May I remind you that you're under oath."
"Y-Yes, but not all the time."
"Hmmm. That will be all."
I get up and go back to my seat.
"Defense calls Jimin to the stand." Rae's lawyer called. Jimin went up.
"Jimin your a witness to Miss [L/N]'s outbursts?"
"Yes."
"Did she not almost choked someone?"
"Yes but it wasn't for no reason. The guy was messing with her."
"If you weren't there she would've choked him. Is tht correct?"
"Maybe."
"That's it."
Jimin then went back to his seat.
"Judge I'm done."
"Very well. The plaintiff may argue her side.
"First I would like to show text messages between Rae and [Y/N] that indicate Rae stared things."
The cop came and got the printed out text message and gave them to the judge. She looked them over. Then it was handed off to the jury.
"The text messages shows. Rae threatning [Y/N]. It also shows that Rae actually boasted about harming [Y/N]."
"I also call Rae to the stand."
They both went over to the stand.
"Rae. So you claim that [Y/N] put her hands on you so you shot her but missed?"
"Yes."
"Can you explain in more detail."
"I was in the hallway walking when she pushed me into the locker. She then started punching me and kicking me. So I pulled out the gun in an attempt to shoot her but I missed."
"You shot at her while she was hitting you?"
"Yes."
"If it was while she was hitting she was close to you. In point blank range. How could you have missed."
Rae went silent.
"You can go."
Rae frantically gets up and goes back to her seat.

My lawyer then called Jimin to the stand. He told him to tell him what happened that day in the closet. He did the same with Tae. They of course had the same story.
"Are you done yet." The judge asked.
"Almost. I just have a video to show you."
Some guys pull out a tv. They started playing the security tape from the closet. Watching myself like that made me get a little emotional.
After the video was over Rae's lawyer stood up.
"May I say something your honer."
"Go ahead."
"It just starts with Rae shooting her. We don't know what happened before."
"Objection." My lawyer says.
"Sustained."
"Let me show you the beginning."
He rewind the tape to the beginning. The jury watched in shocked.
"And did Rae say that this happened in the hallway and not the closet."
"Alright. Defense called [Y/N] to the stan" Rae's lawyer says.
I go and get up there.
"Based on the video it seems you were jealous that Rae was kissing Jimin."
"Maybe."
"Maybe you pointed the gun at Rae because you were jealous. Jimin was kissing the girl you hated most. You were jealous. So you thought to kill her. She took Jimin away from you so you jus-."
"Alright! Maybe I was a bit mad that they kissed, but that was not the reason I picked up the gun! I clearly stated that I was sick of her harasing me almost every single day just so she could have Jimin to herself. I was sick of the threats and the bullying. That's the reason I picked up that gun, but then I thought. I thought that she wasn't worth having blood on my hands ok!"
At this point my eyes were watering. The lawyer was making me so angry.
"That's will be all." Rae's lawyer said.
"Ok will take an hour recess then we'll hear the jurys' decisions." Everyone got up and went were they were supposed to go. My mom, Tae, Jimin, and I went to get something to eat.
