I sat in that jail cell until dawn. Then the guard that put me opened the door. "The prince has asked to see you." He said. I sighed and got up. He led through the large doors to the castle and down a few halls to what looked like a living room area.

He bowed and left me in front of the door. I stood for a minute contemplating whether to knock, or just walk in. I knocked lightly and the heavenly voice of the prince replied. "Come in." He said. When I walked in I saw him standing tall and lean. He had such amazing posture.

"Dear god!" He exclaimed. He ran over and embraced me. I hugged him back. I shed a tear. "Thank god I found you." I said. "What's happened to you?" He asked scanning me.

"Well.....um.......my step-mother found out I went to the ball and she locked me up, and then my step-sister snuck in and broke me out, and my step-mother......killed her, but I was able to escape, and then I was thrown in your dungeon by that guard. So there you go. I'm sorry for my appearance."

He sighed. "I'm sorry about my guard. They're paranoid." I giggled. He just looked at me. "What?" I asked noticing. "Nothing. Your just so beautiful." I blushed. "You never told me your name." He said sitting on a chair. I joined him the chair across from him.

"Cindrella." I said. "Cinderella......how unique." He said. "I know it's pretty.....weird." He laughed. "Do you want me to do something about your step-mother?" He asked me. "Yes. She needs to pay for all the terrible things she's done." I said.

He nodded. "I'll send guards to bring her to me later this afternoon. Anyway, would you like something to eat?" He asked. "Oh. If it's not to much to ask." He laughed. "I am the prince." He rung a bell and a maid came in. "Some breakfast please." He said. She nodded and left the room.

She came back a few minutes later with a tray of food. "Here you go." She said placing it on the table between us. "Oh my. That's a lot of food." He looked confused. "I don't eat much." I said. I dug in. Best. Food. Ever.  When I was done. We both had devoured the whole tray. Mostly me though.
