He took it, he really did. It's gone, I can feel the emptiness. He said he would take my kidney and he did. It hurt so bad, I had blacked out I guess. I woke up in this dark room, bandages wrapped around my waist. Around my ankles were shackles, I assume they were made out of steel or something. They didn't hurt like how iron would've. And around my wrists were police grade hand cuffs. My wings hurt, I've never went this long without moving or stretching them. They were cramping along with the rest of my body.  I don't feel the pain anymore though, I don't know why.

My wings are wrapped around myself, it's so cold in this stone room, I'm shivering. My dress is left in rags, barely covering what shouldn't be seen. I'm awake but I don't want to be, I don't ever want to see that monster again. My breathing starts to accelerate, I can hear the thud of boots, his boots,  walking up to the door of the room. It didn't matter that it was locked or not I couldn't reach it anyway. I had already tried.  I pressed myself in the far corner of the room and hid myself behind my wings. I shut my eyes tightly. I don't want to see his terrifying blue mask again, or that horrible grey skin, or...his devious, evil, blood stained smirk. I shuddered just thinking about it.

He was a demon, something evil that crawled out of hell.  I heard the door open and tried to calm my breathing, and act like I was asleep.

"I see you've awoken my little toy." I heard him say, his voice sending shivers down my back. And all I could do was press myself further into the wall.

"S-s-stay.....aw-ay...f-from.....m-m-e." I whispered, my voice raspy and harsh, a whisper was all I could manage. Anything else hurt too much.

He started to walk towards me and I found myself holding my breath. I froze when his hand touched my wing, my mind shut down in fear. I was so vulnerable, I couldn't even fight back I was so weak. And then he spoke, with a curiosity in his tone that surprised me.

"Why did you have a sword in your wing when I found you?"

My brows furrowed, I don't quite comprehend what he had just asked. The sword? He's curious about the sword?!   I stay silent, not answering, not looking at him, I give him nothing. But apparently he didn't like that. He forcefully removes my wings from around my body and grabs my chin. He forces me to look him straight in the 'eyes'.

" I asked you a question, I want it answered, now!" He growls out inhumanly. My breath catches in my throat as I look at him, I can't take it, I slam my eyes closed.

"We w-were attacked!" I sob, the fear becoming too much. "I was c-caught i-in t-the crossfire!" I hiccup, tears running down my cheeks.

Having his answer the man lets my chin go, my head drops and I use my hands to cover my face. He sits down in front of me, and he just sits there and watches me cry until I cannot produce any more tears, I am far to dehydrated. I hiccup and wipe my now red and puffy face.

"What is your name?" He speaks up, his voice much calmer and gentle than before. There is also no demonic quality to it anymore. I'm surprised. It makes me relax just a bit. I still do not look at him, but I do answer, quietly I whisper my name.

"Vienna."
