Now I guess before I tell you my story I should tell you a bit about myself. I’m Lexi Rea Monroe, I’m 17 and I live in Devil’s Valley Nevada about 30 minute drive from Las Vegas strip. Devil’s Valley it’s mainly middle class families apart from a few who live in huge 2 story house like me because my parents are doctors. I live with my mum and dad Deborah and Markus and my younger brother Logan he’s 15. I’m a senior in high school. Around school, we were the popular kids in school and I guess looking back now life was just so care free... My life was perfect you could say… but things change.

Part 1:

I tied my light blonde hair up into a ponytail and looked at myself in the mirror; I wore light denim short shorts that frayed at the bottom and a black leather halter neck top that exposed my torso. I quickly did my make-up black Smokey eyes with thick fake eye lashes. I put on lip gloss checking the time knowing Brock would be here anytime. Right on queue with a knock on the door Brock walked into my room.

Brock Mills was my boyfriend, we started dating when we were 15…Two years later and we were stronger than ever… Not even my best friend Bella though we’d last but we have. If he only knew the way he makes me feel, it’s like I have a million butterflies trapped in my stomach and there all trying to escape every time I’m with him, He still has that effect on me.

Brock was my soul mate I trusted and loved him with every inch of my heart. I mean what’s not to love…besides being smart and extremely loyal; he was sexy…like lead actor in an action movie sexy. He plays every type of sport so his body was buff like a Greek god, His arms where cut perfectly, his torso sculpted his well-defined 6 pack protruded out every time he took his shirt off at football practise. Brock had the most amazing light blue eyes they reminded me of crystals twinkling in the sun; His hair was light brown spikey at the top and a little shorter at the sides, his smile could melt the North Pole... And he was all mine.

“Damn Lexi…You look amazing!” Brock winked as he wrapped his arms my tight body, “Thanks boo” I laughed “You look pretty good yourself” I added he had style he wore  black chino’s with a white tee and red vans, he had his light brown hair gently spiked and the gold watch I got him, that he never took off.

“So I notice Debbie and Markus aren’t home” Brock stated as I slipped on a pair of black vans “Oh yeah there won’t be home until the morning, They have some Hospital bored function” I explained It wasn’t out of the ordinary for my parents to be out of town. My parents Debbie and Markus where doctors,

Which usually meant my brother Logan and I where by ourselves quite a bit, But don’t get me wrong our parents are the best loving open minded people I knew, they just loved their jobs…Workaholics you could say.

“Ok you’re sure I look fine?” I asked spinning around in front of Brock “Lexi you look beautiful...Like always, now let’s go I have a billion and one miss calls from Jake probably asking for a ride to the party” Brock said “okay I’m ready to go, Let me just go say goodbye to Logan…I’ll meet you down stairs” I said spraying my favourite perfume on my wrists.

I walked down the hall and knocked on Logan’s door, opening it he was sprawled out on the floor playing Call of duty with 3 of his friends. Logan was 15 and was a pretty good kid so I had no worries leaving him and his friends alone.

“What’s up Lexi?” he paused “Just leaving now…I’ll probably be home around 2…3 in the morning” I said “Why can’t we come! It’s the first party of summer break so we all know it’s going to be crazy!” Logan begged “I heard girls take there tops off if you give them a shot” Jeremy Logan’s friend added “Well…first off all there is no way in hell I’d let you come to a party like this Logan, and girls taking there tops off would be the least of your worries. People get really drunk and act stupid, you could get hurt” I explained “I’m not a kid!” he snapped “Sorry Maybe next time” I said as I closed the door and walked away

Thinking if he alone knew the crazy stuff that went on at these high school parties especially the ones in Devils Valley. “

Brock was waiting in his black Jeep; I jumped in “Maybe we should just stay home?” I sighed “Why? You’ve been counting down the days for this party!” Brock stated “I know… It’s just I feel bad for leaving Logan he really wanted to come” I explained “Listen in about 10 minutes he won’t even care, trust me!” “Yeah you’re probably right” I smiled as he grabbed my hand we drove down the road towards Jake Turnbull Brock’s best friend’s house.

Bella, Coco and MJ our other friends were also at Jakes house. Waiting out the front with Corona’s in the hand. Bella My best friend sat on boyfriends lap Micah-James or MJ for short. “OK so somebody please tell me that bitch Donna isn’t coming tonight? She better not show her face!” Bella growled “Chill babe” Micah-James wrapped his arm around her “Sorry Bella word of the street is she is! Just seen it on facebook” I half smiled passing my iPhone to her.

“WTF! ARGGG” was that come out of Bella’s mouth “OK do you girl’s want to fill us in?” Jake asked “She stole from me!” Bella yelled “What?” Brock asked “For the past 5 months I’ve been saving for this $500 Prom dress, I’ve had on hold at a shop in Oakley and I was $50 away from buying it so I posted a picture on facebook when I tried it on at the shop and the next day I went to buy it, it had been sold. I was so upset, that night Donna uploaded a photo in it with the caption ‘Prom Queen’ Grr I hate her it was my dream dress!” Bella sulked

“Aww don’t worry Bella I’ll throw a drink on her tonight or even push her off a cliff tonight!” Coco laughed “Over a dress!” Jake laughed “It wasn’t just a dress Jake, you know how hard I worked to get that money!” Bella snapped “Sorry” Jake said after a swig of his corona. “Don’t worry Bell I’m sure you’ll find an even better dress!” I smiled.

“Ok enough Drama lets party!” Broke cheered cranking the radio up “HELL YEAH” I agreed as we drove up to ‘The Devil’s playground’.

The devil’s playground was a name we called Devil’s valley’s desert, it was just a bare desert that everybody came to party. Not a parent or cop for miles… No one to see underage kids drinking or complain about the noise, that’s why things tended to get a bit Cray Cray. Sure we had house parties but nothing compares to the devil’s playground. And this was the party that kicked off summer break.
