“Please pick up” I whispered holding my phone to my ear as the 4th ring chimed “Lexi what’s gong on?” Jake answered with the same urgency in his voice every time I called him this week. “I’m just out the front of the sheriff’s station and…” “Brock…They found him!?” He shrieked cutting me of.

“No not yet, but they asked me to come down this morning and they wanted me to give details on black eyes, a sketch artist drew him…it’s creepy because it looks like him so much” I said “So they think he has something to do with this?” He asked “Well so far they just want to question him but I think it’s weird how Brock hadn’t got into a fight in months and when he did he goes missing?” I said “I thought there was something fishy about that guy” Jake stated

“So the reason I called you is Sheriff Jenkins printed a ton of copies of the sketch, wanna help me and Logan put them up?” I asked “I’ll be there in 10 minutes with everybody, the quicker we get them up the quicker somebody can tell us who this black eyed freak is” he growled the last part “Thank you Jake” I said hanging up the phone.  

Before I knew it everybody in our group had turned up, they all looked stressed and ready to get shit done. “Lex” Bella half smiled at me wrapping her arms around me “I’ve been meaning to call you it’s just…” I sulked “Its ok Lexi I understand” Bella cooed unwrapping her arms I nodded

“Ok everybody listen up, where here to hand these out and hang this everywhere” Jake boomed holding a sketch that Logan had past him “Everybody get a partner, come and get a stack of the sketches, Also we need these everywhere not just Devil’s valley, but Skull junction and Arrow hills too. I need someone to take this to the news station as well let’s get the photo out there someone has to know this creep” Jake ordered

“I’ll be your buddy” Bella said passing me a huge stack of the sketches “I’m driving” she added “But it’s my car?” I laughed “I’m faster” she grinned this was true I’m surprised she still had her licence after many speeding tickets.

I looked out the window Logan had partnered up with Nia; he had this huge love struck puppy dog face, good luck to Nia…

 “Fine, so how about we go to the news station” I said and with a nod and her foot to the floor we sped off.

“So prom’s in a few months decided on your theme?” Bella asked “Brock and I have a surprise theme” “And you’re not even going to tell your best friend” Bella sassed “Don’t worry I’m sure you’ll look amazing as well” I joked “Oh girl you know I will” Bella said with her miss thang attitude 

These last few days I had forgot how fun Bella was to be around, I smiled to myself.

We parked and made our way to the huge DV news station. We walked up to the thin brunette at the reception desk “How can I help you?” she smiled flashing her pearly whites that had red lip stick smeared on them “I was wondering if I could speak to a reporter about getting this sketch out on the news tonight, it’s to do with the missing boy” I asked “Listen all our reporters are busy but if you leave I’m sure someone can take a look at it” she dismissed “Oh are you serious” Bella snapped “Very” she fake smiled

OH HELL NO “No you listen her Miss I had more lipstick on my teeth them my lips! My Boyfriend went missing a week ago and this scumbag has something to do with it I’m not fucking leaving until I see a reporter” I yelled holding the sketch up in her face “Oh home girl spicy” Bella bumped her hip into mine
