Today was the same as any other day to me...boring

Pokemon battles used to excite me, having my back up against the wall, nervous about losing, wanting to be the best. But once you become the best... Everything is boring.

After defeating lusmine, team skull the elite four, and the UB's there was nothing to do. I missed the adventure, the excitement, the surprise. But most of all I missed lillie.

She was a ray of sunshine, always trying to look at the bright side of things. And whenever she had doubts about herself she could always come to me to cheer her up, the same also worked the other way around. Whenever I thought I couldn't complete the island challenge and become the champion, she always knew what to say to cheer me up. I felt like as long as I had lillie by my side nothing could go wrong.

But when I defeated lusmine and all was said and done, lillie decided to leave the alola region for kanto to help her mother gain back her sanity. I felt deviated knowing that she was leaving, We promised each other that we would travel the world together and see new sites and Pokemon, but I understood that she was doing this because she loved her mother and just wanted to help her. So she packed her things, got two boat tickets for the Kanto region and said her goodbyes to me, hau, and professor kukui, she also gave me a Clefairy doll and promising that we would meet again someday.

Now I'm just sitting here at the elite four base waiting for someone to challenge me and take my title as champion

Y/n: *Sigh* it seems that no one is coming. Might as well find something to do

As I was walking out out my room and into the main room I saw acerola pacing around in circles

Y/n: hey acerola, you ok?

Acerola: huh? O-oh, yes I'm fine *blush*

Y/n: are you sure, your face is red. Are you sick?

Acerola: n-no I'm fine, really. But hey..um you know in 3 days it will be the day that the alola region was founded. But Since you're new here you probably didn't know that every year on the day that the alola region was founded, the whole region celebrates by throwing a huge party that last a whole day, and...I was wondering if...You um..Wanted to go?

Y/n: Hmm...You know what? Why not?, I've been here doing nothing for a while and it's not like I have anything better to do in three days (or the entire week at that) so yeah I'll go

Acerola: REALLY!? 😄

Y/n: yeah, I can't wait to go with you guys

Acerola: yeah-wait, you guys?

Y/n: ya know, me, you, Olivia, hala, and kahili. We're gonna have so much fun
