Marks POV"Hurry up Mark we're going to be late, again!" I grabbed my bag and darted out the door attempting to catch up to the Irish lad.
"You know it wouldn't kill ya to move a bit faster."
Gasping for air I managed to stumble out a few words. "Hey, it's not my fault your so much faster than me."
"Sure it's my fault, I'm sooooooo sorry Mark that your so fook'n slow." A clear tone of sarcasm visible in his voice, his accent stronger and more noticeable. I could feel my face heating up. Trying to hide my blush, I nudge him lightly on the arm making sure not to hit him too hard.
"Oh shut up."
He playfully punched me back, a little more force than what I used, but nothing I couldn't handle. The rest of the walk was filled with a calming silence, that we both shared willingly. As we walked, jack kept looking at the ground below us, allowing me to take in his appearance. His lushes green locks swaying as the breeze caught it, falling in front of his ocean eyes. God those eyes. They were like the sky on a cloudless day. A day you wish never to end. I wish I could gaze into them forever, melting into his complexion. Wait what! Mark stop thinking like that! You've only just met the
~flashback to yesterday~
"No, no, no, no. I can't be late again!" I mumble to myself as I scurried through my bag making sure I had packed my homework. As soon as I saw it stuffed in between two folders i threw my bag over my shoulder and bolted through the door. It wasn't long until I reached the school's entrance, gaping for air. Without the slightest intention of slowing down, I sprinted full speed through the double-doors to the building. As soon as I did so, I noticed a small figure standing just outside of the door. In an attempt not to knock the lad down, i tried digging my heel into the school tiles beneath me, but to no avail. Papers and notebooks went flying as well as the two of us. I quickly sat up grabbing the papers and books that were within my reach, apologizing to whomever I'd ran into. Glancing over I realized he had vivid green hair. Noticing this I ran a hand through my faded red hair as his eyes lifted up meeting my gaze. He quickly looked away, proceeding to collect his items.
Jacks POV
I looked up, a sudden urge to know who'd run into me. Initially starting at his feet, he wore dull, crimson red converse, and light gray skinny jeans with a red checkered flannel that clung to his perfectly toned skin, showing off his muscular arms. His hair an ombré of faded red and black, matching his outfit entirely. Slightly lowering my line of sight, I meet his gaze. I quickly look away, as I continue to snatch up my things. I could sense the heat spreading across my face as we stood in unison. He was taller than I, as is almost everyone, but not by much. Probably only about an inch or so taller. He apologized yet again for the incident he caused as he held out the books in my direction. I reached out trying to grasp the books from his. While doing so, I noticed the veins popping out against his skin, making him seem even more muscular than before.
Just as I took my items from his grasp, the loud, piercing alarm echoed through the now empty halls, both of us letting a small sigh escape our lips. A few seconds passed of neither of us parting our lips to say a word. It wasn't until a few minutes later was the silence by his deep, rumbling voice.
"H-hey, uh... sorry for making you late to class. My name is Mark." He stuck out his hand gesturing for me to greet him back. I hesitated before reaching out to take the kind gesture, shaking his hand slightly with my own.
"Oh no, it's no problem, really. My name is Sean, but you can call me Jack." I gave him the best smile I could manage, hoping he understood he was forgiven. He returned my efforts with a warm smile of his own, showing the perfect white teeth behind it, as we separated our hands. I missed the warmth and comfort it brought me as soon as the connection was lost, leaving me cold and desperate. I soon pushed the feeling away as best as I could, hearing his voice echo throughout the halls.
Marks POV
"So Jack, you must be new here. Where ya from?" Without warning he suddenly burst out into laughter. I have him a look of confusion as he attempted to catch his breath in order to speak.
"As if you didn't already know. I just moved here from Ireland a few days ago." He wasn't wrong. His adorable accent clearly gave it away.
"Okay you got me," I said, innocently raising my hands just above my shoulders.
"So what's this little leprechaun up to this morning. Off to find the end of the rainbow?" He rolled his beautiful eyes, chuckling softly at my remark.
"Actually I was just about to go ask if someone could show me around."
"Well I'll show ya around, I know this school like the back of my hand. What's your first class?" He handed me a sheet of paper, of which I presumed to be his class schedule. I scanned over it realizing we had almost every class together. I smiled slightly at the thought of seeing Jack walk into the classroom and sit beside him.
"Whacha smiling at bud?" Shit! He noticed!
"Oh... I uh. I just realized that we have a couple of classes together that's all," I said nervously, running a hand through my faded red hair.
"And is that a good or bad thing?" I shrugged replying, "I don't know I guess it just depends." He Vicks his head to the side. "What do you mean 'depends'?"
"Depends on what you think it is." Yet again he rolled his eyes in response as we headed to our first hour, giving him a tour of the place I call hell.
