GAME OVER {Book 1}

Day XXX

I slammed the alarm clock to shut up. I woke up and stretched. University had already ended and I just had to find a place to live. Anywhere, I thought.

As I made my way to the living room, I looked to see the Nintendo Switch wanting to be played. I promised myself not to touch Breath of the Wild, after what happened.

Instead , I grabbed Splatoon 2 , one of my favorite games of all time. The Switch started up normally and I played Splatoon 2.

Usually, for this game you need to play online. As I went to a lobby, there was something strange. All the online characters were named GAME OVER.

I just thought they were friends and the game started. I was an inkling, but something was off. The other characters were octlings.

You have to hack a game to have an octling, I thought. I was wrong. For Legend of Zelda, wasn't the problem for it was The Nintendo Switch.

Splatoon 2 froze like Breath of the wild, and once again a message popped up.

"You thought you could escape me? Think again!"

I was done. I turned the console off as I heard knocking on the door.

I opened it and met face and face with Dulce, my best friend.

"Wow, someone slept late" Dulce commented. My eyes widened. " What do you want Dulce?" I asked, rubbing my eyes. "I just wanted to hang out with someone" Dulce replied.

"Can I come in?" Dulce questioned. I nodded, hesitating at first. Dulce looked around the living room and the first thing she saw was the Nintendo Switch.

"Fuck" I whispered to myself as she asked to turn it on. "Sure" I said nervously. "What! You have Breath of the Wild!" Dulce yelled.

"Ya" I said groggily. "Look Elaine, you need to get some sleep, I'll just play this game" Dulce explained. I just nodded and walked to my room.

As I jumped into my bed, relief soon hit me. I then fell asleep.

"OMG WHAT HAPPENED!!!?" I heard someone yell.
