GAME OVER {Book 1}

Day XXX

I jumped off the bed and opened the door. I ran to the living room. Dulce was there, looking at the screen. "What the fuck is that?" Dulce exclaimed, pointing at the message.

"Well two contestants I see"

"Turn that off" I exclaimed. Dulce looked at me. "What?" She asked. "I said turn it off!" I shouted, turning the console off, tears running down my face.

I sat down and began to cry. "This t-thing I-is going to haunt me" I whispered. "Who did you buy this THING from?" Dulce asked.

"I got the console from-" I stopped. I had to return this game back to the lady. "Dulce let's go" I said.

"Where?" Dulce said. "The person I bought it from" I replied. " I guess" Dulce shrugged. We both went outside to the car.

As I drove, Dulce talked about things that was happening right now. I really didn't pay attention for I wanted to get this game out of my life.

We approached the lady's car and soon we parked near the drive way. We stepped out of the car and we knocked on the front door. No reply. 

"What kind of crap is this?" Dulce commented. There was no way this lady had gone. "We might as well ask the neighbors" I suggested. 

"Your right" Dulce replied, "but wasn't I the one who was always right." I chuckled. We made our way across the lawn to the neighbor's house.

We knocked and a man around his thirty's replied. "Hi, would like anything?" The man asked. "Yes, I want to know about the person who lives there?" I questioned.

He kept silent. "You mean Janet Serrot, the lady who lives with her two two children Jose Serrot and her youngest daughter-" "Yes sir" I replied, interrupting him. 

"She doesn't live there anymore" He responded. I looked at Dulce who looked at me like, I'm pretty sure you were lying the whole time. 

"Well thanks sir" I said. "No problem" He said, waving goodbye. He then closed the door. "You were lying weren't you" Dulce said to me. 

I looked at her. "No Dulce, I'm serious I bought it from her" I retorted. "Look, let's just go somewhere to eat and maybe we can talk more about it" Dulce uttered.
