Chapter 12 | Revelation

"You mustn't open the Ultra Wormhole. You cannot let the beasts run wild!"

Stomping his sneaker on the ground, Gladion glared daggers at his mother. He had mixed feelings about this sort of project. Of course, one of them was anger, which fueled him in some sort of way. His emerald eye scanned the area, searching for something specific but as interrupted by Lusamine nearing him. He continued glaring at her until she was in front of him.

"The daughter who stole my Cosmog from me and the son who took my Type: Null! All I ever did was give you two all the love I had, and all you did was betray me! You have no right to ask for my attention now!" the blonde mother couldn't hold it in anymore and released all of her anger. Gritting her teeth together, she gave her most crazed look. Her hand gripped the milky dress tightly as she tried to suppress the anger.

"What? Daughter? Son?" the pineapple boy ;) asked dumbfounded, turning to face Gladion in confusion. Still, he held an amused grin and put his arms behind his neck.

"...Wait," Hau whispered to himself, glancing at Lillie, who was furrowing her brows at him, and Gladion, who closed his eyes and sighed at his dumbness. "Wait! You all are a family?!"

"Perhaps once we were... Sweet Hau," a frown appeared on the president's face. "But those wretches beside you left me."

"But it doesn't matter now. None of that matters now!" she hurried to the capsule as her heels clicked on the white floor. "I will continue my project...even if you try to stop me!"

Sun and Lillie gasped in shock when Lusamine did something to turn the liquid in the capsule a certain person was in ocean blue.

"Don't worry [Name], this is what you were created for. I promise you'll like it there," Lusamine explained, stroking the glass wall that separated them lovingly. As she pushed a button, [Name]'s head suddenly fell, making the others perk up.

"Stop this at once!" Lillie desperately called out, wanting to save her only female friend. Sun stepped up as well but didn't bother saying anything. Hau, who still didn't know what the heck was going on, stared at [Name]'s unconscious body floating in the tank.

"What's happening?" he questioned innocently, laughing awkwardly as he scratched the back of his neck. Oblivious to the situation, he took some steps back.

"She's obviously using her as some sort of fuel to open the wormhole alongside Cosmog. We need to free her," Gladion explained rushed, worried about the portal opening and releasing all the beasts into Alola.

"I was able to open the Ultra Wormhole using just the gases we'd extracted from Cosmog when it was in Aether Paradise, wasn't I?" A loud crash from the neon blue cage was heard as the poor Pokémon cried out in fear. "But now I have Cosmog itself in this crate here... If I use its entire body, how many Ultra Wormholes will I be able to open?"

"And let's not forget our dear [Name]...with her, I'll be able to tame every beast that shows up!" Lusamine's smirk rose greatly as she broke out into mad laughter. "How, you ask? When I first opened the wormhole, I studied every aspect of the portal and the precious Nihilego. I created a serum that contained various DNAs of Ultra Beasts and injected it into [Name] later!"

"Hence the name UBT-001, Ultra Beast Tamer-001!"

The president picked the small crate up, raising her arms into the air as if something will come out. [Name], who was still in the machine, started squirming as the blueish liquid drained the energy out of her body. Her facial expression remained sad, her entire skin started to pale so much it began to look unhealthy.

"Watch... I will open the Ultra Wormhole for you... Come to me my sweet beast!"
