Chapter 9 | Time Fades

(This is set a couple months later, maybe even a year but there is a timeskip here.)

"[Name], breakfast is ready," a high ranked employee informed, not before knocking on her door. He then left her to her own things, the sound footsteps fading was heard.

[Name] woke from her slumber, rubbing her eyes tiredly. Turning to look at the clock, she noticed a set of clothes neatly folded on her bedside table. She stood up and went to the bathroom, preparing herself for a new and boring day.

It has already been many months since she last saw any of her friends like Hau, Sun and Lillie. Though he didn't count as one of her friends, she worried about Gladion too. It's like she wanted to know about his constant mysterious attitude, his past and most important, Type:Null.

Speaking of Type:Null, [Name] was thankful that Faux wasn't discovered by Lusamine yet. Not knowing what consequences would hit her, she silently hoped that it would stay like this.

-

[Name] hopelessly wandered in the halls, trying to remember where the dinner room was. She surely didn't have a good memory, even though her routine was almost the same everyday.

She began to lose hope for delicious breakfast, but still searched for the room or even a map.

'...Where am I?' she asked herself.

Suddenly, there were fast paced footsteps to be heard. [Name] perked up and put her guard up, she was taught self defense by Lusamine herself.

There was a turn to the left, she tried to make less noise to make sure the intruder doesn't notice her. She knew that no one was allowed to run in those halls.

As she turned, she walked into something soft, a soothing smell radiated off it. Due to the person running, she fell down on the floor rather unpleasantly.

A gasp was heard from the mystery person.

"[Name]? I'm so sorry!" A familiar voice shouted.  The person helped her to stand up as she widened her eyes at the sight of the boy.

"S-S-Sun?!" she exclaimed, "W-What are you d-doing here..?" He shook his head and grabbed her hand, dragging her with him. His face heated up as he realized they were holding hands.

'Stop it Sun..,' he mentally slapped himself, trying to get rid of his red face.

He simply dragged her the stairs down, not even bothering to answer her question. They stood in front of Lusamine's room door.

'I shouldn't go in there..,' [Name] thought, remembering Lusamine's words as Sun opened the door rather wildly.

"Well hello there, Sun. You brought [Name] too? How nice of you," no one other than the president said, turning around to look at the glaring boy. [Name] smiled at Lusamine, waving her free hand in the air.

That's when [Name] noticed the person next to the president.

"...Lillie?"
