Chapter 3

•Elisabeth's POV
I sighed as I sat next to my friends at school. Will and dad had an argument last night. Dad found out that Will doesn't have any powers and that he is a sidekick.
Will started walking towards us when Lash tripped him. All the food fell on Warren. My eyes widened and I stood up as Warren walked to Will.
Will's eyes glanced at me and he looked nervous.
Warren got angry as Will mention his father.
I run in front of Warren.
"Please, stop."
Warren stopped and looked at my eyes.
"Move."
My eyes widened.
"No, Warren. Please, don't hurt him."
Warren pushed me to the side and I fell down. Will looked angrily at Warren.
"Don't touch her!"
He lifted the table and throw it at Warren.
Will walked to me and helped me up.
"Are you okay, Lisa?"
I nodded.
"Yes. Are you?"
Will smiled and hugged me.
"As long as you're okay."
Warren started walking to us and throw a fire ball at us. I stopped it with my powers.
Principal Powers than walked in and send all three of us to detention.
Warren looked at me.
"I'm sorry."
I looked at him.
"For what?"
He smiled gently.
"For pushing you. I was angry and I know that's not an excuse."
I giggled.
"It's okay. I'm fine."
Will scoffed.
"You pushed her and she fell."
I sighed.
"Will, I'm fine. He didn't hurt me."
Warren looked at me.
"He is right. I hurt you. I shouldn't have done that. I'm sorry."
I smiled gently.
"It's alright."
Will opened the door of our house and he kinda ripped the whole door. I giggled at him.
We turned around and saw mom and dad. Mom looked angry while dad looked happy.
Dad went to talk to Will, while mom talked to me.
"Mom. I just stopped the fight."
Mom smiled.
"I know, honey."
I smiled as she kissed my cheek.
"Sleep well, sweetheart."
"Goodnight, mommy."
Will walked into my room and smiled.
"Dad is happy."
I smiled.
"That's great, Willy."
Will kissed my cheek and went to his room, happy.
I laid down and smiled.
