Chapter 1: Sofie's Confession

"Truth or dare, Ena?"

I laugh at the childish game. "I'm feeling adventurous, so I choose dare." Everyone 'oohs' at my choice.

"I dare you to call Elliot and tell him he's the hottest guy you have ever met."

"Are you serious, Sofie?" I raise my eyebrow. The chances of me saying that to my best guy friend is 1 out of 1,000,000.

"Hey, you're the one who picked dare."

"I hate all of you," I say pointing to each of my friends. I know Sofie gives the worst dares, why do I keep choosing dare? I groan in annoyment as I sub consiously dial the familiar number into my phone.

"Hello?"

"Hey Elli. I just wanted to tell you something,"

"Um okay? What is it?"

"You are the hottest guy I have ever met."

"Oh really? Tell Sofie to go die in a hole because I know she's right beside you,"

"HOW DID YOU KNOW?!" Sofie yells in my ear.

"I'm too pro for you, don't you know? Haha bye, Ena. Love yah,"

"Love yah too, Elli." No, we aren't dating. Everyone thinks we have a crush on each other but that's not reality. We are like siblings to each other. We practically live at each other's houses and we call the other person's parents as of they are our own. We do love each other, but as siblings.

"You suck, Ena." Sofie says as she sends me a joking glare.

"It's my fault Elliot can see right through you?" I smirk knowing I'm right.

"Shut up and carry on with the game,"

"Lisa, truth or dare."

"I will follow your footsteps and take a dare."

"I dare you to ask Elliot out on a date," we all know that Lisa had had a crush on Elliot for like 3 years now. It's getting annoying listening to her talk about him 24/7.

"NO! What if he doesn't like me that way,"

"Then you can finally move on to someone who actually likes you that way." I respond. I love Lisa, but she gets REALLY annoying sometimes. She groans but I know she loves the dare. I look over her shoulder as she texts Elliot. 'hey e. wnna go 2 a movie or smt w/ me?' After 5 minutes of staring down her phone, Elliot replies. 'sure. tell me which 1 & ill meet u there'

"Ena...I LOVE YOU!!!" Lisa starts jumping around screaming while Sofie and I are laughing at her. Erica just rolls her eyes. Oh, classic Lisa.

"Okay, let's carry on. Sofie, truth or dare?" Lisa asks, even though she knows Sofie always picks truth.

"Truth."

"What's your deepest, darkest secret?"

"I...I...I uh...I'm...uh..." Sofie stutters.

"You can tell us anything, Sofie." Everyone else nods in agreement.

"I dated Elliot for 2 months last summer..." Could it be? Little Miss Innocent had a boyfriend? Erica and I are just in complete shock while Lisa is just down right furious.

"WHAT !? ELLIOT IS MINE!" Lisa yells.

"Elliot is a human being. You can't just call dibs, okay? Oh, and by the way, this is my life. I can do whatever I want, so you can't tell me I can't do something when it's totally my decision," Sofie just stays quiet after her short outburst.

I see what she means, though. Lisa is very controlling and very mean sometimes. Everything just goes quiet as Lisa and Sofie have a stare down. So I guess the friend drama has finally started.
