Sasha woke up in the middle of the night. She was breaking a cold sweat. She had haunting images of Dylan. She knows what she needed to do. She needs to find out who Vladmir is and end it. She headed to the bathroom and had a quick shower. Changed in to a big loose top and a pair of shorts. She went to the kitchen to make herself a cup of coffee. She heard noises coming from the other room. She took the big kitchen knife and headed towards it. She had a peek. It was Nick that has fallen asleep on the couch. He was had left the TV on. She turned it off and made her way to the basement.
She took a sip of her coffee while she was waiting for the search for all possible Vladmirs were completed. While waiting, she took a look at her collection of weapons. There were two more M9s and a few 9mms in the drawer. The other handguns were in each car. The same goes for the hunting knives. She then had a look through the monitors that were feeding in live stream from the CCTVs surrounding her house. Everything looks normal. Then there was a beep.
She faced the computer. There were 7 Vladmirs found. 3 were in jail, 2 dead, that leaves her with 2. Both have criminal records. She looked through each profile. She printed both possibilities information and headed up. She made sure the basement door was locked before heading upstairs to change.
She was in her bodysuit and boots. She just closed her bedroom door when she heard footsteps coming up the stairs. She quickly went inside her bedroom and waited for the footsteps to pass. It was Nick for sure. She heard the guest room's door close. She quietly went downstairs, to the garage and turned on the TT.
She drove fast. She arrived at the first Vladmirs address. It took her more than 2 hours to drive out to this place. The house was big, it was 3 storeys. She climbed over the gate with ease and peeked into the windows. It was dark. Given that it is almost 3 am, the inhabitants would be asleep. Only one room had a light on. A room on the 2nd floor. She started scaling the brick wall. Got on to the balcony in one piece. It was Vladmir, putting a baby down into his cot. Vladmir caught a glimpse of me. He stared at me. He was scared. Sasha held both her hands up to show that she was not armed and jumped over the balcony and made her way to the ground.
Vladmir One ran downstairs, opened the front door with a rifle in hand.
"Where are you?! Show yourself! Are you a robber?! I have a gun!" he screamed into the cool air.
Sasha swiftly held him a knife point.
"Lower your rifle and your family won't have to mourn over the loss of a husband and a father," she said.
He obeyed while stammering,
"Who are you? What do you want?"
"Do you know Nikolai Marcus?"
"Who?"
"I hate repeating myself so you better give me a straight answer. Nikolai Marcus."
She tightened her grip around his neck.
"I swear I don’t know who that is. Look I have stayed away from any bad ops for 4 years now. I really am legit now. Please, you gotta believe me."
"Yeah because I am gullible like that."
"Okay, so I used to push drugs but then I found the love of my life. She's a school teacher. She doesn’t know about my past. Please and I don’t intend for her to find out. Please. I swear on my son's life that I don’t know who that is."
Sasha loosened her grip. She made him kneel.
"I'm going to go now. Count to ten before getting up. Or else."
"Okay," he stammered.
Just like that she disappeared. She was in her car when she saw Vladmir One crying into his hands. After ten seconds, he slowly rose up and went straight to the son's bedroom. He picked up his son and cradled him in his arms.
