Do we ever stop loving people, who hurt us?
In the core of soul, no, never....
But the scarred heart learns not to beat for that person. The rained out eyes don't see that face, even in dreams. And the dry lips wipe that name off, forever. So, we may stop loving them. But sadly, the soul knows no eraser.
