Jerome's POV•

I slowly opened my eyes and sat up. I could hear the other inmates outside. I walked over to the door and banged on it. I didn't know if there was a guard outside because there was no bars for me to see outside.

I banged on my door for a few more a few minutes until a guard finally came to let me out.

I smiled and walked out making my way to the rec room.

I walked with the rest of the inmates to see if I could see Katie anywhere.

Everyone keeps pushing me and shoving me and it was annoying as shit, I'm inches away from knocking someone out.

I was about to walk through the gates to go into the room and someone shoved me AGAIN.

I turned around and punched him in the face. He was much bigger than me and pushed me to to the ground then started punching me. I laughed and kneed him in the stomach. Guards came over to us and pulled him off me then took him away. I grinned and walked inside.

Katie's POV•

I was sitting at one of the tables in the recreation room I think I heard someone call it.

I sat in the one in the corner so nobody would really notice me.

"Katie?!"A guy comes over to me. His face was bruises and bloody. "Do I know you?" I asked, frightened. His face dropped. "Katie stop playing.it's me, Jerome". "I don't know anyone called Jerome sorry" I frowned. "Katie you're not funny" He laughed and He took a seat in front of me. "Honestly I'm not.I don't know anything, the last thing I remember is being in my room with my friend Megan and then everything went black and now I'm in....wait where even am I?". "Fuck" Jerome mutters. "How did I get here?".

•Jerome's POV•

She glanced over to the gates and that's when I saw it. The purple bruises on the Side of her head, and now that I look more closely some strands of her hair have gone white and her skin has gotten paler. "fuck". How did I get here?" She asks sadly. I was about to talk when a loud crash was heard. A few minutes later the gates were blown open and blue smoke filled the room.

I looked over to Katie who started to cry. I held my breath and grabbed her hand then dragged her towards the now open gates. "Where are you bringing me! LET GO" she screamed. She kept screaming and crying until she finally passed out. I took in a breath, and fell to the ground passed out.
