"Twelve weeks! It's been twelve weeks since Eclipse has been here!" An angry voice shouts.
"I understand that Tristan," a deep, agitated voice sounds," but you must understand, this shifter, has been through a lot of trauma."
Looking up, the doctors burning yellow eyes glares at the boy as a growl rips through the boys throat.
"Although," the doctor begins glancing at the peaceful girl then his notes," she might be a shifter, she's going through flashbacks. It doesn't sound serious, but it seems as if her body is forcing her to relive anything that has happened before."
Tristan sighs and sits next to Sirenity. His voice low, almost as if he didn't want to awaken her, " Is that why she cries, scream and is partially elongating her claws?"
The doctor nods looking into the boys red and orange eyes,"that's exactly why. She has a history, a dark one at that."
A long stretch of silence settles in the room broken though by another earshattering scream.
Tears stream down her face and she starts wrestling against the chains that they put around her.
The clanking makes them alert waiting for her to shatter the chains like she did to the other fifty, each one getting heavier and stronger.
Two girls enter the white hospital room. Standing on the side of the doctor. They watch helplessly as Sirenity struggles against the chain, still as silent as the wind.
The only sounds from the whole room are the chains rattling, her growling, and the heart monitor beeping fast.
"How's she doing?" One girl asks looking at her. Her dark black hair covering one of her purple eyes. Dark tanned arms crossed in front of her. A small salamander on her hair.
"Besides all the screams and growls, Zaran?" Tristan retorts looking at the Asian girl," Fine." Looking back at Sirenity in worry, not looking back up he sighs," Dr.Kama believes she'll wake up soon."
"Good. But damn that girl has a pair lungs!" The other girl says trying to lighten up everyone's mood by holding out the 'damn'.
Everyone looks at the multi-colored haired girl for a split second, then chuckle at her.
Sticking out her tongue playfully her extremely blue eyes glaring at them.
All at once they stop chuckling the minute Sirenity struggles against the chains, eyes still closed.
She let's out a blood curdling scream, the worst scream yet, as it echos around the room, shaking every person to their core, ears deaf from it.
Suddenly she stops.
Yellow, red and orange, purple, and blue eyes stare at Sirenity expecting her to wake up.
Panic settles in Tristan's when he notices the deathly silence.
The only sound being the flat line of the heart monitor.
Soon there's Dr. Kama shouting orders at all his nurses, pushing the visitors out. Tristan stares at the limp girl.
No! She can't be gone! He catches one last glimpse of Sirenity as everyone tries bringing her back.
"Tristan snap out of it!" Zaran shouts at him as they sit against the wall. He ignores her and listens to the clear orders from the doctors.
"Tristan, she's strong willed, from what you told us," the other girl tells him standing in front of him.
Finally he snaps," Calm down, calm down! That's what you want me to do right now! Well news flash Karma," he begins yelling staring at his multi-colored friend," if she dies, you won't ever know anything about her! We all won't become her friends," his voice starts cracking," From what I've seen from the days I've been there, when she was there awake and alive, she's treated like shit!" He starts yelling.
