Midnight: This was the worst part of that horrid time I went through!!! *face saddens*

Midnight: *smiles*'Alright then continue the story.
Me: ok then now where were we?.........
(Mid's POV)
It was around seven-thirty that night and we had just finished supper my youngest brother Gracen was asleep. Then a guard rushed in screaming, he hollered that the Squids were invading the Kingdom; I was shocked that they actually strike back. The guard had just finished his sentence when he paused before falling straight to the ground face down, I screamed when I saw the knife in his back and the Squid Hybrid behind him. My Father yelled to me and my sister to get Gracen and run Anne dropped the platter and we dashed to Gracen's bedroom and began running. We fled the castle to see the chaos in town innocent people were being killed left and right. What had I done? I pulled out my sword Dusk kept running like she was supposed to. Gracen was separated from us in the chaos! Anne and I were foolish enough to disobey my Father's orders and fought back. Anne and I fought the best we could. "Midnight I need your-" Stopped Anne. I spun around seeing the Squid Hybrid in front of her with a sword pierced through her. I killed the Hybrid rushing to Anne. "ANNE ANNE NO PLEASE DONT ANNE...ANNE!" I yelled it was no use my best friend was dead. I closed her eyes slowly tears poured like rain down my face. Then a hybrid grabbed me I kicked and screamed as they dragged me away. I got one last glance at my best friend who seemed to be sleeping looking peaceful, and in the crowd was the crumpled body of my little brother beside her before everything became inky blackness...
