These dates haven't been updated and for now I'm only keeping them so you know how long everything will last. When I get a set date to start the contest I'll tell it to you and the contest will start! 😅
Also I live in the Eastern Time Zone, or the same time zone as New York.
May 6: Contest opens
June 30: NO MORE ENTRIES WILL BE TAKEN UNDER CONSIDERATION after 1:45 pm which was the time when the entries weren't taken after June 16, my last day of school but now I changed it. After I've taken in the last entries I will start organizing books for the judges to read, and at 6:30 pm... ⬇️
June 30: Judges get their Round 1 books to judge.
July 12: all judges must submit the Round 1 results to me via PM (private message)
July 13: the day reserved to sort out any mishaps with Round 1 Judging
July 13, late evening: Judges get their Round 2 books to judge.
July 26: Judges submit their Round 2 results to me via PM.
July 27: Reserved to sort out any mishaps with Round 2 Judging
July 27, late evening: Judges get their Round 3 books to judge.
August 10: Judges must submit their Round 3 results.
August 11: Sorting out any final mishaps
August 12: Me doing the math and taking the averages, getting the winners in order, etc.
August 13, 7:15 am: Winners announced

Yes, the winners are announced so early because I have math class like the whole day.
Yes, I planned this out originally so it would end up a month after the summer solstice, but there weren't enough entries and I had to postpone it.
Because in Percy Jackson, a time of war was in the winter solstice, so let this be the opposite! :-)
