It really has been too long

Eons pass as the two men rediscover themselves and their relation ships both with their mentors and with each other. Now as Life remembered his slow fading and Death remembered his choice to join his partner in rebirth they grow closer than ever before.

As the years go by they rebuilt their forces. A team of highly skilled souls who, when left alone by their leaders, chose rebirth as well. First they found the soul of Bianca di Angelo, a being known as Sorrow who is now seen side by side with Death on the battle field. Next, Change was collected. Formally known as Octavian, the man was a testament to how the mortal realm could warp a soul beyond recognition. However, the past is laid to rest with his mortal body and his spirit fights with his brother, Life. Soon after, Violence was brought home, Ethan  Nakumura had been away for far too long. Later three more returned to their ranks as their mortal bodies expired. There was Leo Valdez, simply know as Laughter, followed closely by Alabaster C. Torrington, called Growth. Taking much longer to join was Thalia Grace, who stayed with the hunters to search for Nico. She was reunited with him as Strength.

As the primordials regained their former lives they watched the live of the mortals and gods alike beneath them. Life and Death cried when they realized some of their old friends still searched for them and they cried once more, this time with happiness, when those same friends were gifted immortality, to ensure the god's ranks were never depleted of their strongest heroes, and when Ethan Garcia died young and stupid, with the backs of the gods turned to him, they laughed. Some may say that it was sadistic but he truly brought it on himself. The idiotic boy offered himself to Tartarus the same way Luke Castellan had done for Kronos. He was dead in seconds.

However, Garcia's death sparked something in the angered primordial. After hundreds of thousands of years he stirred.

Life and Death watched The Pit's awakening closely. They watched as the gods of earth failed time and time again to notice the signs of his rising. It was a slow awakening. Requiring a full millennia before he could even take a proper form. All the while the young gods searched for their lost friends, who's souls were no where to be found. Luckily for them, the two men were going to come to them.

::::::::::::::::Somewhere Eons After Their Death::::::::

Milky white eyes blinked slowly at a smiling Khaos, their face portraying nothing but the best intentions. Death sighed loudly while glancing over at his partner, Life, who, at the moment was winning like a child to the two older primordials.

"Do we really have to help them? I mean they did just fine the last few times without our assistance... technically." While Khaos was still smiling, delighted with their apprentice's "fuck it" attitude, Order was less than amused and was flat out glaring at Life. Death decided now would be the best time to intervene.

"Life. My love. My soul mate. My other half. Shut up." The black winged man seemed slightly offended but kept his mouth closed nonetheless, waiting for Death to speak again.

"As you know Tartarus is like nothing they've ever seen because for once, the past isn't repeating itself. So we must assist them. Besides, I know you still want to see our friends." Life chuckled softly at the last part and looked to his partner with a far away look in his eye. "Alright I get it. But I'm going to punch Zeus." Death looked vaguely concerned but laughed along with him.

Order, while no longer glaring, was still not amused and turned to their sibling. "Khaos, he was such a nice boy when he was younger. What did you do?"

"I don't know what you were expecting when I decided to take on a pupil. Besides he is going to help them isn't he?" There is an exasperated yet proud look on Khaos' face as they look over the winged primordials. Order seemingly placated for the moment before directing them to look at the screens on the wall. "You'll be meeting with the gods on New Olympus in three days. If you would like to tell them of your past lives you may, it makes no difference. Just meet them in the thrown room, they should recognize you as primordials. From there you will lead the new immortals in training both camps with your team to ensure they're ready for whatever the Pit has in store for them. If need be assist them in their battles. We want as little blood shed as possible." On that note order vanished in a flash of light with Khaos following them while muttering about "dramatic older siblings."
