GONGJU'S POV

Since it's still pretty early because both Jihoon and I canceled the hangout, I decided to go to the hospital. My parents were staying at my place so I had to excuse myself.

"Hey mom, dad, I'll be going again."

"Hmmm? Oh, sweetheart, where to?" my mom asked while she's busy reading the newspaper with her spectacles and my dad's just watching the news.

"To the doctor," both of their heads turned. My dad stood up and so did my mom, and they were both walking towards my direction.

"Hunbun, are you alright?" concern plastered their faces and I sealed my face with a weak smile.

"All is good, I just want to check my condition. I've been very tired lately and well," I sighed, "My nose was bleeding, so I came back home very early from the hangout."

They both gasped, "It's alright guys, I might just need some vitamins, that's all," they both nodded.

"Alright, please be home as soon as possible okay? If you don't find us home, we're out to buy groceries," I nodded and my dad kissed my forehead while my mom pulled me in to hug me.

Okay, you were obviously white-lying. Aren't you going to tell them about coughing out blood too?

I don't think they need to know about that...or do they?

I gently pulled away from the hug and tried to push my thoughts away.

"I'll get going now," I bowed and as I looked up I smiled. They both nodded and waved as I went out the entrance of the house. I left my phone on the side table by the entrance to my house before I finally left.

This time my condition worried me. What if it was more than me being drained out of energy?

"The results of the blood test will be sent to your home after three days. In the span of those three days, please rest and put any activities that require you to go out on hold."

"Thank you for your advice. I will be waiting for the filed results."

"No problem Ms. Lee," he nodded and I nodded in reply as well. The doctor gave me a few pills that I have to consume for three days straight.

"These are vitamins, right?" I examined the package.

"No, those are medicines. Vitamins will be of no help in your case."

But why would he give me medicine...when I don't even know what's happening inside of me?

"Wait, why do I have to consume this medicine?" the doctor kept silent while doing some paperwork.

I cleared my throat, "I'm sorry but do I have to repeat my question again?" but nonetheless, I was still ignored.

"Why do I have to take these pills?" I raised my tone - I don't care, okay? I'm worried - the doctor finally looked up at me blankly. Silence still radiating from him. I could also feel a little bit of tension.

"Am I getting my answer any time soon?" he nodded.

"In three days, you will."
