Chapter 5- Home&'home'

This day has been very eventful..

I ran away from home, had to go to the hospital and have an operation, lost my skateboard and my bag seems to be missing, got told i can't skate for a week, some creepy man tried to drive off with me and now i'm sat here on the pavement.

It's already dark so it must be late and i have nowhere to go. Great.

Standing up i make my way down the road and decide to head down back to the skatepark.

The wind howling, the tree's swaying side to side and the moon following my every step. I need to go home.

The street lights burning, couple cars roaring, no-one around. But i can't go 'home'!

Now, note that i said 'home' not home. A home is a welcoming place where you live and feel comfortable and safe. A place where you stay. In my case the closest thing to a home i have is indeed a skatepark. I don't get beaten up there, i don't get hate sent to me via social networking, i don't get shouted at or blamed for. I feel safe and comfortable in a 'skate zone area'.

Sometimes i wish i could be a guy, you know... so i could enter The X Games, it's been my dream for many years now! Winning would be great but just experiencing the atmosphere and competing against the professional skaters i have admired for many more years would be even better!

For a girl i would say i'm not too bad at skating.. I just need people to believe in me.
Actually,no. I need to believe in myself!
I need to believe that i can prove them wrong and that i am good enough!

Maybe i should just stop right here; it's like they say, all good things must come to an end. Right?

Snapping out of my daydream i turn the corner

Hey, this is another filler chapter because recently i have been quite busy.
