Chapter 3: What was that?

DAY 30

8:57am

IAN'S POV

Ahhh, it's another new day. It's been about a month since I first met Y/n, and we've become really close already! 

I walked into Starbucks, sniffing the air. IT SMELLS SO GOOD! I walked over to Y/n, who was smiling, "Hey Y/n!" "Hey Ian!" she smiled. HER DIMPLES ARE STILL SO CUTE I CAN'T. 

"I'll get the usual latte, for take-out." I smiled, paying her. "Ian you're change is-" "Keep the change as a tip." I flirted playfully, making her let out a light chuckle. She grabbed an empty cup and a pen. "You know, I fainted when I first met you." she laughed, while writing my name on the cup, then passing it to someone else so they could make my order. "Really?" "I mean, who wouldn't faint when meeting their..." she trailed off.

"Their?"

"Their uhhh.. favorite youtuber!" she laughed, nervously. "True." I said, then walked over to the counter where my drink was. I thanked Lily, the employee who usually made my drink. I grabbed the latte, and took a sip. As usual it said, 

Wait... 'Eyan'?

NARRATOR'S POV

"You spelled my name wrong dumbass!" Ian joked, walking over to you. There were no other customers at the ordering counter, so it was just you two.

"Atleast I'm your dumbass..." you muttered under your breath, quickly regretting it.

"What was that?"

"I said I did it on purpose, dumbass!" you yelled playfully, pushing him lightly from behind the counter.

Luckily for you, Ian was obnoxious enough to not realize what you first said. He chuckled, then looked at his watch. "Well, I'll get going now. Bye Y/n!" he yelled, before turning his back and walking away. "Bye!" you yelled back. You sighed,

"I wish that little dork was mine."

"Y/n." someone suddenly said. You turned around to see your manager. "Y-yes?" "Meet me at my office in ten."

You gulped, as he walked away. "Oh God, what did I do?" you muttered.

~about ten minutes later~

9:14am

You took a deep breath and walked into his office. "Why do you look so scared?" he chuckled, and you giggled nervously for the nth time. "Oh.. You're not in trouble Y/n."

You sighed in relief, walking over to his desk and sitting down on one of the chairs across it. "I just wanted to ask you.." he trailed off.

"Would you like to join me for dinner later?" (A/N: Sounds so formal wtf LOL. Reminded me of Beauty and the Beast XD)

 "S-sure, Mr. Hernandez." you replied, confused.

"Your address was on the application form, so I'm picking you up at seven thirty later. Take the rest of the day off, and wear something cute but not too short." he smiled, leading you out of his office.

"Oh, and just call me James."
