We kept sailing in peace as i heard someone talk about a town near us. I do hope we get to dock, i miss the sand and hard earth a little bit now. After over a week of basicly nothing but the open sea and islands in the distance here and there, one does get to wish for a bit of rest so to speak. I kept mostly to myself over the days, i have talked with the capitan, Finlas and spoke a few words with the man that killed the serpent and a few crew members here and there, but that is about it. - "So what with that town everyone is talking about?" I ask Finlas. - "Just a small port town we will go to trade, resuply and things such." I nod as i look ino the distance, a small island we are sailing to.

We come near it and i hear the capitans voice. "Fold sails! We dock lads!" I see the wooden docks and stand on the railing as i hold on to a rope as i look into the town. Nothing special really, i see some houses, shops, a small marketplace, a tavern and so on. "Reginold!" I hear the capitans voice. "Watch the boy." I look around and see that same man killed the serpent look at the capitan and then me. - "But i was about to go to the tavern." He complains. - "Then take him with you. Im going to deal with trade and resuplying." The capitan leaves the ship as sone sailors with boxes and small barrels follow him. The man looks at me, a bit annoyed. - "Lets go boy..."

I walk behind him as he starts walking to the tavern, not paying atention to me as he doesnt look at me or speak to me. I dont think we are off to a great start. He gets to the door and opens them for me. He nudges me in as i enter the tavern. I see bright, warm fires, smell strog scents of meat, and hear the joyfull music played by some bards. People are talking, eating, drinking, laughing and singing. Reginold takes a seat at a table near the corner as i take mine at the same table. He gives me another look, i didnt quite figure out his emotion, as we both take a look around.

Soon, a woman comes to us and she asks us what will we eat. Reginold speaks. - "Two pork chops and an ale. The lad will have one pork chop." The woman nods and turns around but he stops her. "And an ale." She nods again and leaves. He doesnt talk to me as the music stops and everyone goes quiet as some people start singing in deep voices, so we both listen.

"

Reginold smirks. - "Song of a warrior." By now the food and drinks have come. I look to him. "It is a song honoring every warrior, their path, their lives, and their deaths." He raises his pint and drinks. I raise my pint and take a small sip. It is new, i dont quite like it but i am a child no more, so i keep a straight face. - "Its good..." He smirks at me and chuckles as he starts eating. I look down on my food, it smelled amazing, so i happily dig in. The music starts playing again and everyone starts talking, laughing and singing again. - "Be a lad and fetch me another ale eh?" He smiles at me as he passes me a few gold coins. I smile back and nod as i head towards the innkeeper.

I order the drink and pay for it. I start taking it back as a big bald man bumbs into me so hard, that the drink falls on the floor and spills. He laughs at me. - "Watch it boy!" He turns around. "You bumped into me!" He suddenly stops and turns back to me. - "Im sorry, did you say sonething?" He gets closer and towers above me as i get up. - "You bumped into me. And apology accepted." I smirk a bit as he angers as he heads to push me off my feet, but i quickly step to the side. - "Why you little!" He raises his hand to punch me but his hand is stoped. He looks to the left to see Reginold, who blocked his arm from punching, as he punches him right in the face with his other hand.

The man is stunned a bit as he shakes it off and looks at Reginold. He gets full of rage as he yells out and charges Reginold. He takes a sidestep as he grabs hold of his arm and thriws him on the ground. The man gets up and throws a long strong punch. Reginold parries his hand to his right using his own left hand as he steps foward and punches the man in the face again with his right hand. He then quickly gets behind the man right after the punsh and grabs his head and slams it down. Geting the mans whole body to slam against the floor again.

I see another man come behind Reginold, as he grabs him from behind, reginold rolls on the floor and gets out of the grip, leaving him on the ground as he quickly gets up. I see yet another man come behind him as i take a bottle. I see a dagger in the mans hands and as he is about to go for a stab i smash the bottle on the mans head as he falls to the ground. Reginold quickly turns around as he sees the man on the floor and me there, smirking akwardly. He smirks back at me and laughs. He then puts his hand on my shoulder as he takes the last bit of his food and leaves the tavern with me.

As we were walking back to the ship we were laughing along the way. This went much better than i expected. That might had gone the best way possible i think. So much worse things could have happened. "You go back to the ship, i have to do something first." He tells me as he takes a turn. I go along and keep walking towards the ship. I suddenly stop as i see three men in front of me, blocking my way. So much for everything going great...

I turn around to walk away but see another three men behind me. Go figure, it was the same three men that were fighting Reginold. The biggest one speaks. "Where is your friend? Cant sace you this time? Shame..." He smirks at me as he nods to the man who i smashed the bottle on. He smirks and takes out his dagger. My eyes widen as i take a quick look around. There is a tight street to my left, and a roof i can quickly and easely climb on to my right. I zap as quickly as i can left as two of the men run that way to block my escape. Most of them move that way like they are about to chase me. I smirk and turn around to the right side as quickly as i can as i jump up and climb the roof of a house.

I look behind me and see the bandits it seems, climb the roof and start chasing after me. I run as i easely jump to another roof, a small gap. I then turn and jumb down, a bit further, to a house a bit lower than the one i was on. I look behind again and see only four of the men still after me. I keep runing as i jump down, slide under a fence.

I can see the ship now. I run towards it. I look behind to see the bigleader of the bandit group after me, geting closer and closer. I keep running, the ship is very close now. I run as fast as i can and then i look behind and then, i trip. On something lying on the floor. Didnt get the chance to see what was it but i see the big bandit now walking up, towering above me. He takes out a pistol and points it at me. I close my eyes as i hear a shot. I feel nothing. Darkness, but still some warnth. I hear a noise of somethibg falling on the ground. I try to open my eyes and see the sky. No cloud in sight. I look around and notice that i am still there, still alive. I see the man on the ground, his face on the wooden floor of the dock. I look behind to see Steelfist walking up to me, his pistol still in hand. - "First day that you are elsewhere than your home and allready you have a huge man chasing after you." I chuckle and he laughs hearty. - "I learn from the best."
