It has been about a week since i have joined capitan Steelfist now, and except that small goblin encounter, it has been... boring. I have been doing some fishing, and any other help i could give that would keep me busy, but as soon as im done with them, i do not know what to do with myself. It has been nothing but quiet sailing. I am begging any divine that something interesting happens soon, hopefully i wont regret it. But hey, how bad can it be, right? Both the crew and the capitan have been acting a bit odd lately though. Looking over their shoulders, around the ship and down at the water. Not sure why.

Its noon and the day is hot and bright, im siting at the front of the ship, thinking as i stare into the water. I remember all the interesting conversations i had lately, i have learned a lot over the week. Now i know that the ship i am on is a frigate. Not that it means much to me, but good to know. The capitan promised me we would go harpooning one of these days. I cant wait for that, i wonder what will we be hunting. As i am deep in my thoughts i see something that looked like... blood... in the water... I look foward to see something floating ahead of us, something dead.

"Capitan!" I call to him. He looks at me and i point towards whatever that is. His look stifened as he brought the ship near it, he told the crew to fold sails, and the ship cane to a stop. Most of the crew came to the railing and looked down on whatever that was. I think i heard one of them call it a great white shark. It was indeed a shark, it was also huge and i guess you could call it white. Except, its corpse was half eaten. - "Well, it probably just died and was eaten by smaller sea creatures..." One of the sailors spoke nervously, to which the capitan replied. "No lad, these are big bite marks... bigger than the shark itself. Im suprised it wasnt eaten whole..."

The crew looked at each other and then the capitan. I think i seen the capitans face, it seemed... a bit scared. Im not sure, but it was a look i never seen in him before, yet he had that same flame in his eye, that only got stronger and shined brighter. He straightened his face and turned back tothe crew. "Well then, get back to work ya sea rats! Full sail south." The capitan chuckled at them a little bit and looked back at the dead shark, making that face again. - "What do you think it was, capitan?" I asked him. He turned to me and spoke. "Im not sure laddie, perhaps it is best if we dont know." To that he turned around again and walked to the wheel.

We kept sailing, after a bit, to lighten the mood, the capitan yelled for a song. A sailor began singing, and soon the rest of the crew joined him. I just listened.

"What do we do with a drunken sailor,
What do we do with a drunken sailor,
What do we do with a drunken sailor,
Early in the morning!

Way hey and up she rises, way hey and up she rises, way hey and up she rises,
Early in the morning!

Shave his belly with a rusty razor, shave his belly with a rusty razor, shave his belly with a rusty razor,
Early in the morning!

Way hey and up she rises, way hey and up she rises, way hey and up she rises,
Early in the morning!

Put em in the longboat till hes sober,
Put em in the longboat till hes sober,
Put em in the longboat till hes sober,
Early in the morning!

Way hey and up she rises, way hey and up she rises, way hey and up she rises,
Early in the morning!

Stick em in a barrel with a hosepipe on him,
Stick em in the barrel with a hisepipe on him,
Stick emin the barrel with a hosepipe on him,
Early in the morning!

Way hey and up she rises, way hey and up she rises, way hey and up she rises,
Early in the morning!

Put em in the bed with the capitans daughter,
Put em in the bed with the capitans daughter,
Put em in the bed with the capitans daughter,
Early in the morning!
