Harry's POV;
After an hour of listening to Autumn tell me about her past with Jake. I was speechless. I knew Jake for 5 months, and I never thought that he was like that. I felt so sorry for Autumn, half of me wanted to stay here beside her and comfort her, but the other half of me wanted to find Jake and kill him. He had no right to do what he did to Autumn, and I was going to make sure that he knew that.
"Do you want another cup?" Autumn questioned nodding her head towards the cups of empty tea.
I nodded and followed her out to the kitchen, I placed my hand lightly on her back as we walked. Ever since hearing the story and seeing her break down in front of me again, I knew I couldn't leave her, not now, not ever.
Autumn clicked on the kettle, and settled herself on the countertop, swinging her legs. She smiled at me but it was a weak smile, a fake smile. I knew that she wasn't okay, and I knew that she didn't like thinking about it.
I moved closer to her, stepping in between her legs cautiously placing my hand on her waist. She looked at me, and then down at my waist. She moved her hands, and placed them around my neck. Her hands on my neck sent shivers down my spine, I leaned closer and leaned my forehead against hers gently. Her hands moved to my hair, tugging on them gently.
I wanted to kiss Autumn, I so badly wanted to. But I didn't want to rush things. Things as precious as this aren't meant to be rushed, they are meant to be savoured. I didn't want to rush things between me and Autumn. Everything between us was happening quickly, even though we had no physical contact with eachother yet, I found it hard for myself not to touch her when I was around her.
"Harry." She whispered.
I looked up to her bright greenish blue eyes that were filled with sadness and raised an eyebrow at her. "Mhm?" I questioned lazily.
"Your phone is vibrating." She said giggling, her giggle sent me smiling straight away as I looked down and realised I got a new message. I was about to lock my phone and ignore the message when my phone started to ring. I looked at the caller ID and realised that it was Hazel. I held up a finger to Autumn, and stepped out of the kitchen unlocking my phone and placing it to my ear.
"Hazel?"
"Meet me at your apartment in ten minutes, we need to talk."
Before I could reply my phone went dead. Fuck. I didn't want to leave Autumn now, but I needed to sort shit out with Hazel.
I walked back into the kitchen, where Autumn was still sitting, she was tugging with the sleeves on her jumper, her long curly hair fell around her heart shaped face. She looked up and a small smile spread on her lips when she saw me. I couldn't help but return the smile.
"Everything okay?" She asked flicking her hair away from her face.
I nodded, stepping closer to her once again. "I have to go, I have an errand to do, but I'll come back as soon as I'm done okay?"
She nodded her head. "Okay, I'll see you later then." She smiled at me as I leaned down and kissed her forehead gently.
"I'll text you when I'm here." I told her picking up my beanie.
"Okay." She hopped off the countertop and made her way over to me.
I wrapped my arms tightly around her waist kissing her head.
I walked towards the door, smiling at her. "Lock it yeah? and don't answer it to anyone." I said sternly looking around making sure Jake wasn't lurking near.
She nodded her head. "Yes dad." She said sticking her tongue out at me waving. I waved back before leaving the gates to her apartment and heading back to my apartment.
