Mum, she kept
Badly she shivered
Scarred for life
As childhood shriveled!
At tender age of ten
Unaware, what it meant
Horrific it was yet
left a never mending dent
Haunted her day and night
Memories never left her mind
For it crept up her spine
As nightmares played on rewind
Had her into reeling numb
Atrocious, clutch with might
Save realization hit hard
Crumpled, she put up a fight
Eluded out of the lair
Wished it wasn't a reality
Away tucked in her haven
Alas! Couldn't be so, such pity.
