I grabbed the ringing phone beside me,
"Hello?" I answered.
"Hey, it's Sim."
"Is there a problem?" I took off my glasses
and placed them on the desk.
"No, I wanted to asked if
you can keep Auden for a
week."
"Yes, I will. What's wrong?" I asked,
concerned.
"Nothing, just have a lot
of work."
"Oh, okay. I don't mind.
Is that all?"
"Yes, goodbye."
"Bye."
I ended the call and placed my phone down. I had a feeling that something was wrong but I didn't want to push her knowing she will lose it as always.
But I still had a strong feeling in my gut something was wrong.
