"Yay! She's waking up!" A little girl squealed.
"Good eye, Hinami!" A familiar boy's voice said, and a herd of footsteps got closer.
Opening my eyes, I groaned from the brightness of the room because of hours of darkness. Even though I only ate a small area of that body, I felt like throwing up. Probably the aftermath of being kicked in the stomach.
"You said she was familiar, right Touka?" I heard the boy again.
"Yeah," the female's voice was also familiar.
Looking around, I was face to face to that one black haired kid, the girl, and a cute little one.
"Uhm..." I sat up, despite my limbs burning. "Hello?"
"She can talk!" The little girl, who I'm guessing was Hinami, jumped in joy.
"What's your name?" The boy sat next to me. "I'm Kaneki Ken."
"I..I'm (Y/n) (L/n)," I couldn't help notice the boy's eye patch that was on his left eye. It actually make him a little bit cuter.
"You have a pretty name, miss!" Hinami smiled at me. "Oh, and I'm Hinami Fueguchi! Nice to meet you!"
"I love your name," I gave Hinami a smile back, "and you're so adorable!" I went to ruffle her hair, but someone slapped my hand away, making it sting.
"Touka, why'd you hit her?" Kaneki arched his eyebrow at her.
"None of us know her, yet everyone is letting her touch Hinami!" Touka, the blue haired female was glaring at me.
"I wouldn't harm a little girl..." I looked at my red hand.
"You can't randomly hit people," Kaneki grabbed my hand, taking a look at it. "Hinami? Could you go get an icepa-"
"I'm fine, but thank you, Kaneki," I tried to yank my hand away.
*Kaneki's POV*
We were about to close shop, but when I went to put the sign down, I saw a girl, looking about my age, laying on the ground.
"Touka! Come help me!" I called inside the cafe, running over to the girl.
"Leave her," Touka barked, walking back inside. "I'm not wasting my time on that ghoul."
How does she know she's a ghoul? My eyes traveled up and down her body. Her (h/l) (h/c) was in a a loose ponytail, but I couldn't see her eyes. Wow, I thought, putting my hands under her and lifted her up, carrying her inside.
She was light, so light. It was easy to carry her.
It's hard to admit that she's beautiful, and if I told anyone, they would tease me, partly on the 'I just met her' part. If she was a ghoul... then what if she's like me? I'll have to ask Touka later.

It was quite a while before she had woken up, but when she did, I heard Hinami giggle.
Her eyes were crystal (e/c), and it was actually hard to imagine her as a blood hungry ghoul. She looked too nice, and the way she was sweet to everyone, even Touka, no matter how rude Touka was being, I took it that she cared for people, even if she didn't know them.
Her name was also cute. (Y/n) (L/n)... and the way she said my na-
"Kaneki, snap out of it!" Touka snapped her fingers in front of my face.
"Oh. uhm... well anyways, Touka, do you remember what kind of ghoul she is?" I asked, making sure the (Y/n) was still off playing with Hinami.
"She didn't bring out her kagune," Touka shrugged. "I just found her eating another human and fighting with Nishio."
"Oh... so we don't know if she's also a one eyed ghoul," I gave a weak smile.
"Kaneki, think realistically. What are the chances of her being half-ghoul?"
I gave a sigh, and could hear the two girls, (Y/n) and Hinami, giggle as Hinami showed (Y/n) around the cafe.
"Well... if she's a ghoul... she can work at the cafe, right?" I looked at Yoshimura, the manager. "And she can also live with me! It wouldn't be a big deal."
"Well, of course I would let the young ghoul work here and since you live alone, it's your choice on who gets to live with you or not," Yoshimura gave a small, usual smile.
Touka scoffed, and (Y/n) and Hinami burst through the door with Hinami dragging (Y/n) to the coffee table and couches.
