I was distracted. (F/n) hadn't come back yet, and I could hear sirens in the distance. No way sleep would come now, so I went to find (F/n).

It wasn't cold. I felt like the air was scorching my skin off, yet I was shivering. The thought of the glutton ghoul getting to either me and (f/n).

Screams were heard in the distance, and I flinched, but kept walking.

"FLESH!" I heard a familiar screech behind me, and right as I turned around, I came face to face with searing pain, then more pain. Car tires screeching against the pavement was the last thing I heard.

"(F/n)?" I opened my eyes, remembering her face, covered in blood. The crazy look in her eyes, along with the ghoulish black and red sockets

"Ms. (L/n)!" Someone rushed to my side. There were two men. One was quite handsome, but I knew he was too old, and the other one gave me chills.

"Who are you?" I closed my eyes again.

"We're investigators and ghoul hunters," the second man gave me a crazy smile, making me gulp. "Is IT TueE THEY aCCiDEnTalLY GAvE YOU GHoul oRGANS?!"

Flinching away from the flying spit, I gave him a weird look.

"Mado, don't scare her, or she'll never trust us," the first man kept his straight face.

"Right, right, Amon," The second, older guy, Mado, nodded.

Amon knelt next to me, grabbing my pale hand, "do you remember anything?"

Shaking my head, I felt it start to pound.

"Ah! Ms. (L/n) is awake!" A nurse walked in, rolling in a tray of food. "Sir, you're going to have to leave." The men nodded, then left, and Mado's smile got bigger.

The food on the tray looked amazing. I saw salad, (f/f) and fruit! Grabbing a small bite of (f/f), I popped it in my mouth, gagging and spitting it out instantly afterwards. It felt slimy on my tongue, and the taste was seriously unappetizing.

"My, you haven't eaten a single thing!" Mado sat in a chair next to Amon, laughing like a maniac.

"It hurts!" I cried, clutching my stomach.

"Why don't you eat some cherries?" Mado grinned, pushing a bowl close to me. My hands were shaking as I picked up a cherry, and I was gagging already, and almost threw up just as it touched the tip of my tongue.

"Tsk, the doctors just made more problems for us," Amon crossed his arms. "Now we have to feed her somehow."

"But she could help us! We could get her to capture the other Ghouls!" Mado's eyes flashed.

I kept quiet, holding my knees to my chest.

".... She can stay with me," Amon sighed, inspecting my small frame.

"WHAT IF SHE EATS YOU IN YOUR SLEEP?!" Mado glared at him.

I had already agreed to help them get rid of other ghouls, feeling like humans were the only species I could trust, especially after (F/n), whose organs I inherited.

"We'll just have to feed her about once a week," Amon rolled his eyes. "I doubt this girl will hurt me, and if she does, she'll be dead instantly."

My heart stopped, and I widened my eyes, feeling my blood pound harder in my body. In the reflection of the mirror across from the hospital bed, I saw my eye flash black with red, before changing back to white and (e/c).

"Don't scare her," Amon scoffed as Mado got a crazy look in his eye.

"But hear me out. Okay, so other ghouls will want her because she's a one eyed ghoul, so what if we use her as bait and trap the ghouls who come close to her!" Mado cackled.

"So we just put on the streets at dusk and just trust her to only lure ghouls and not kill humans?" Amon lifted an eyebrow.

"Yup! WE HAVE TO PUT ALL OF OUR TRUST IN HER!" Mado gave us a crazy smile

They did what they said. They gave me a dead carcass, which smelled amazing, and left me to lure the other ghouls. My mouth watered. It's been about two months since I actually got to eat, and this smelt better  than (f/f)!

Grabbing a piece of the bloody human, I nervously brought it to my mouth, feeling the blood fill my mouth. Something snapped in me, and I happily gobbled up the rest, wiping the blood off my mouth with my (f/c) sleeve.

"What do we have here? Does no one get territories?" Someone growled behind me, and I snapped my head back, eyes narrowing at the person. He was quite handsome. Orange hair and black glasses.

"What territories?" I rolled my eyes, licking the blood off my hand.

Standing up, I felt a new confidence in myself. It must've been (f/n) talking, because my fists clenched, and I felt my gaze turn hazy. This must be what a ghoul feels like... always hungry and the need, no- want, to attack other ghouls and humans.
