"Mac, you need to come see this!" Riley yells
"What?" I ask as I walk into the room
"We just found all these videos, the Ghost recorded all of the bombings he has done." Jack says
"For how long?" I ask
"Up to 10 years." Riley says, scrolling through them
"Wait 10 years?!" I ask
"Yeah." Riley says
"Can I see something?" I ask
She nods then gets up and lets me sit down. I scroll through and see the two dates that I have dreaded the most these past 5 years.
"I think I should watch these two videos alone." I say
"You sure?" Jack asks
"Yes." I say
"Alright. Let's head out." Jack says clapping his hands
Once everybody is out of the room. I click the first video. Seeing the girl I lost 5 years ago.

"Are you sure this is a good idea?" Anna asks, looking at her partner as they walk into a house
"Yes Anna. Mac and Alfred are training." Her partner says
"Yeah I know. But both of us going in, with the bomber, it just seems stupid." She says, stepping on way, keeping a cautious eye out
"You rather be out there with Mac and C.O. Alfred." He says
"You wish. You know how me and MacGyver are." She says with a chuckle, turning around
"Anna, watch out!" Her partner says then steps on a pressure plate
"Don't move." She says, ignoring his warning
A guy comes up behind Anna and grabs her, dragging her away. She tries to struggle and pull away. She is soon out of the camera's sight. But I hear a car start and speed off. Soon the explosion happens, killing her partner.

As I climb out, I see them carrying a body.
"Who is that?" I ask one of the soldiers nearby
"It was Anna's partner Brandon. They were out at a bomb calling. He stepped on a pressure plate. We found his body when we lost their signal." The solider says
"There only one body. What about Anna?" I ask "Is she in the infirmary?"
"No son. She wasn't at the site." Alfred says as he comes up
"What do you mean she wasn't there?" I ask
"Her body was fully exploded. There was nothing we could bring back." He says
"What? Then she might still be alive. The ghost always leaves a body behind!" I say
"Sorry son. That is what happened." He says

I watch the other video. Listening to my C.O.'s voice as he is saying things I never heard him say. I feel the tears start to spill down my cheeks. I wipe them quickly, hearing the door open. I look back and see Jack coming in.
"Want to explain?" He asks
"The ghost killed my C.O., I was supposed to cover for him so he could be there for the birth of his daughter." I say, looking at the screen "My radio fizzed out once he stepped inside. I didn't even hear what he was saying."
"And the other one?" He asks
"My best friend, Anna Dalton, I always thought she died a few days before our C.O., but it looks like the ghost took her." I say
"Wait, Anna Dalton?" Jack asks
"Yeah. Same last name as you." I say "Want to tell me why?"
"Because she is my niece." He says
"Well if the ghost is here, she might be too." I say, running out
"Mac, what crazy plan do you have now?!" Jack yells after me
"I'm going to get my best friend back!" I yell
