CHAPTER 5
It's 6:00. I hurry to Sam's room to wake him up.
"Sam! Sam! Wake up!" I said
"What?"
"I'm leaving today."
" I know. I barely slept last night."
"Me either."
I sighed then went to the kitchen to eat breakfast. Surprisingly, mom and Joey were sitting at the table drinking coffee.
"Uh.. hey guys." I said going towards the fridge.
"I have a question, Anna." mom asked.
Woah. she talked to me!
"Yeah, what is it?"
"Are you REALLY going to California with your father?"
"Yep. why?" I answered quickly and happily.
"I'm gonna miss you, that's all."
"You're gonna miss me? Oh, I thought you hated me."
"I don't."
I grabbed an apple and said "well sorry, I already told dad I'm going. its too late now. I'm gonna bring my stuff downstairs."
After that I took a shower and put on makeup and packed my plane essentials- gum and headphones. then, I heard a knock on the door.....
