Yesterday Harry and I had our second date and it was as perfect as our first one. He took me bowling and then we went to an outdoor public pool that opened late. It was really fun and sexy at the same time.
It was a bit chilly today so I put on my black ripped skinny jeans and black sweater. I was going to wear all black today. It quite reflects my mood. I was at home alone, watching TV and guess what day was it? Yes, my birthday. This was by far the saddest birthday I have spent. I was alone in a country that wasn't mine, without my family and friends. At least, I had skyped with my mum earlier but talking to her made me more nostalgic than happy. And I wasn't going to tell everyone that today was my birthday; I wasn't like that. 22 years old, God I feel old.
"Happy Birthday to me." I said in a sarcastic tone.
My phone started ringing and when I grabbed it I saw Harry's name on the screen. Yesterday we had a great time but he was checking up his phone and texting a lot. I wasn't sure if he had as much fun as on our first date. I was afraid of picking up the phone, to be honest.
"Belle, I know you're in there! Open up smurf!" Harry's voice came from behind my flat's door.
What was he doing here? I wasn't expecting him or anyone to come visit me today. I walked to the door and opened it, Harry was leaned on the door frame smiling.
"What are you doing here?" I asked confused.
"Good afternoon to you too." He kissed me on the cheek and entered. "Did you have lunch already? If not we can go eat something on our way to Westfield."
"Hold up. We?" I asked confused.
"Yes, we're going shopping. Liam and Sophia are on the car waiting for us."
Wait, what? Liam AND Sophia? Holy shit, Liam was in Harry's car with his girlfriend. Was this somehow a double date or something? I was fucking confused. I didn't get to talk to her at Zayn's house because Perrie took me with her and I was all the time with her and the Little Mix's girls. Oh my God, this could be a disaster.
"Hey don't worry. Sophia wanted help with shopping and she thought of you. Since you didn't have the chance to talk at Zayn's party, she thought this could be a great opportunity to know each other. Shopping can bond girls, you know?"
I laughed at what Harry said, 'shopping can bond girls'. He was such a dork. I looked at what I was wearing and I didn't look that bad to go shopping. I only had to put my leather jacket on and my black boots and I would look perfect.
"Ok, let me go for my jacket and put my shoes." I said still laughing.
"Wait! Before I forget." Harry approached to me and handed me a little box. “Hope you like it.” Harry said with a nervous smile.
I looked surprised at the little box that had been placed on my hand. I unwrapped the little box and when I opened it, I saw a little silver sparkle. "Is this..." I looked up at him and hugged him. "Thank you so much, Harry. I love it."
...
When we got on downstairs I didn't see Harry's car. I looked at him confused. "Where's your car?"
"Home." Harry said smiling. "Liam picked me up."
I mouthed an 'oh'. So we were going on Liam's car... I was really started to feel Harry didn't want to be alone with me. And this had to do with the phone calls and texts he was answering yesterday on our date. I knew this whole thing of him falling for me was too good to be true.
Liam and Sophia waved at us as we approached to the car. We got up on the back seats and Sophia turned around and smiled at me. She seemed nice so I hope this whole shopping thing doesn't turn into a complete torture.
