The Worst Date - 5

Ok so this imagine is about a Step siblings relationship, and one decides to act upon they're true feelings.....

"Y/N you ready yet?!" Kai whines as you are still upstairs getting ready for your date with this guy called Josh. You and Kai were step siblings he was going to drive you to the place you were meeting some swanky restaurant. Kai was really protective of you sometimes a little too protective. 

"I'm just coming!" You yell back just putting on a heart shaped necklace you got from your mum last Christmas before she got in a tragic accident, your dad never told you why which made you question it.

You look in the mirror making sure you look ok after the finishing touches. You went for a little black dress with a lace detailing at the top and with a floaty netting at the bottom It was quite short but not to short. Then some black stiletto heels. You grab your sparkly silver clutch and head down the stairs.

"How do I look bro?" You laugh because even though you aren't blood related you call him bro. You look at his facial expression he looks anything but pleased "You are not going out like that." His tone sounds irritable.

"What do you mean what's wrong with what I'm wearing?" You raise an eyebrow "What's wrong with It? What's right with it." He sarcastically answered "Kai I don't have time for this I'm going to be late I'll just get a cab." I barge past him 

"But I thought I was taking you?" He asked slightly surprised "Well not if your going to dictate to me like my dad would." I roll my eyes folding my arms over my chest

"Fine I'll take you but can't you not just change into something a little less revealing." He says I shake my head "No, I don't have time I have 10 minutes which will be 5 if we don't leave now." I complain

"Fine but I'm not happy." He says as he get his car keys and open the door I just I ignore  his comment and hurry behind.

"So who's this Josh guy?" Kai asks while starting up the car as I put my seatbelt on "Just a guy in one of my classes at school." "Oh right just just wondered you know so talk to me what's he like?" He asks and we start to drive.

"Ok well he's on the football team into sports like cross country too." I answered "That's it don't you know anything else?" He laughs "No we just started talking in biology and he asked me out there's not much to tell." I say "Ok.." He says

Once we arrive at the restaurant carpark I undo my belt and get ready to leave "Thanks Kai." "No problem, you know we argue and stuff but I never mean it, sorry about the dress thing I think you look beautiful I'm just being wary you know." Kai apologies I give a small smile "Thanks bro.." I give him a high five we weren't the hugging type.

"Have fun." He smiles and I shut the door and give a wave.

I walk into the entrance "Do you have a table booked?" The waiter asks "Uh, yes under the name Josh." I answer "Oh right Madam of course this way."  He ushers me to the reserved table but I notice Josh isn't there. Where is he?

"Oh it looks like your date hasn't turned up yet if you would like anything just ask and here the drinks menu." He handed me the menu I said thank you and looked at the menu I checked my phone to see if I had any texts from my date, none.

*1 hr later*

I had finished my glass of white wine and I am still waiting I don't think he's coming "Madam would you like to order a meal?" The same waiter came back I shakes my head "No I'm just going to head home can I just get the bill please." I frown trying my hardest not to cry I really like him.
