Light and darkness

You can hear the chains rumbling on my wrist.

Hiding in the shadows like a monster.

Eyes blind to the light adapting to the darkness.

Light reflecting off the eyes, but they are still dark.

Now the pure light is never going to reach my skin.

Blinded by the little shine creeping in.
