7. Grief

Bella's POV

After the night where everything that had been built up spilled from deep within, Edward had never left my side. He took me to his gym when he trained for his fight this Saturday coming, so I didn't have to be alone.

Emmett was surprised to see me there so often, and luckily Rose and Alice came around at lunch to check in with their men. So I wasn't completely alone. I didn't really pay attention to what either of them were saying, only what Edward was doing completely interested me.

His body covered in a thin layer of shiny sweat, his hair falling against his forehead as he jabbed at the punch bag Emmett was steadily holding.

I made Edward promise to not tell anyone about the things I had told him, at least, not until I was ready. I trusted him.

"Hey Bella! Earth to Bella!" Alice poked me in my side , and I hunched away and gasped.

"Alice!" I growled lightly, cringing lightly at the sudden attack on my rib cage.

"Stop ogling my brother and listen." She winked. I sighed and turned my attention to Alice and Rose who were giggling to each other.

"I wasn't ogling, I was only. . . Observing them."

"'Observing' my ass. You have the hots for Edward. We all know it." Rose scoffed and smirked at me. Today, her golden waves were pulled back into a secure bun and her make up was light showing off her too flawless skin. Her crystal blue eyes deceiving, pretty but devilish. Nobody would EVER want to get on the wrong side of Rose.

"We're best friends Rose. Of course you're going to think there's something going on." I rolled my eyes. For once in my life, my lie rolled off my tongue like it was second nature to me. She believed me, as her eyebrows lifted and she gave me a small smile.

"Okay so, me and Em set a date for the wedding!" Rose announced suddenly. Alice squealed and I leaned over and hugged her.

"When is it?!" Alice bounced in her seat with a huge smile.

"It'll be in 6 months from now, in June. Saturday June 24th 2017. Isn't it just perfect?" She sighed, locking her gaze over to Emmett who was still training Edward vigorously.

"I can't believe it's finally happening, I'm marrying the man of my dreams." She hummed and brushed a stray stand of hair behind her ear.

"This is so exciting!!" Alice yelled, bringing the attention to our little group in the corner of the gym. Both Emmett and Edward looked over to us, and my gaze held Edward's gem one a little longer than I should have.

"You okay?" He mimed from across the gym. I smiled and nodded.

"Bella, will you be my maid of honour? And of course Alice will be my matron, seeming her and Jazz are married."

"Yes! Of course it'll be my honour." I smiled, hugging her again.

"Oh and just imagine the Bachelorette party we can throw--"

"Me and Em have decided that we won't be having any parties alone. We want to spend it together, so we're having a joint gathering with all of our friends and family."

"Can I still get drunk?" She asked, which made both me and Rose laugh.

"Uh yeah? What the hell is a party without alcohol?"
