A/N hi everyone. I'm very sorry for my sudden disappearance and lack of updates, I've been SO incredibly busy with college work and working in general. It's hard to toss between college, work, writing, homework and sleeping. It was also my 17th and my sisters 18th a couple weeks back, so I've been busy with family too. But I hope you enjoy this rather short chapter and hopefully the chapters will get longer again in the future :)

Warning: unedited ❤️

Everything was amazing. Everything was suddenly right. My baby was finally here, and Edward was the most perfect daddy to her. It has been around 2 months since her birth and she'd fit right into our lives as if she were always there. Bear however was annoyed that he was no longer the only thing being babied and tried his hardest to snuggle up to Edward closer than usual. We were like a small, not perfect, but just right family.

Edward had taken Bear with him to the gym today, where he would be training and working out, which I was completely fine with. It was nice to have one on one time with my baby, especially since Edward hadn't left my side since Belle's birth.

I folded up various pieces of clothing from the tumble dryer to keep my self busy as my little Belle slept. It had been a while since I'd been alone, and to be honest I was glad I had Edward, I don't think I would of been able to cope without him.

I quietly moved around the apartment with the baby monitor attached to my hip and the washing basket underneath my left arm. Things for once felt normal. It felt as if we were all a happy little family and that possibly maybe in the future it would expand.

A little noise from the baby monitor told me that Belle was awake and I just hoped and prayed she'd stay silent a little longer while I finish up my chores. But of course, the crying began.

I sighed and placed the basket on the kitchen counter and walked back through the lounge area to Belle's nursery.

Her room was dark, of course, because of the black out curtains that I had suggested we put up for belle. She had little fairy lights hanging from just above her crib where she was rolling around relentlessly.

"Hey, Hey, hey baby," I cooed as I pulled her from the warm confines of her blanket and into my arms. Her eyes were tear filled and her little face was scrunched up. She looked almost identical to Edward when she wrinkles her nose up, just like he does. I smiled to myself and at her, before leaning down and placing a warm kiss on top of her head.

She wasn't hungry, I had only nursed her  a couple hours ago and she definitely hadn't pooped in her diaper, I think anyone could smell that business from a mile away. She only wanted a cuddle from her mommy, which I was more than glad to give her.

I rocked her in my arms, loving the way she fit in my there as if she were made for them. She smelt like the vanilla and strawberry shampoo Edward and I had bathed her in early this morning. I smiled at the memory of Edward pulling funny faces at her, bringing toothless smiles to her face. He was truly amazing with her.

Her cries slowly turned into soft whimpers and she closed her eyes, lulling off to the noise of my hushes and the gentle rock of my arms. She was asleep in no time and I gently placed her back into the crib, kissing her head one last time and tucking her in.

I sighed to myself before shutting the door to her bedroom gently and continued with the laundry. Grabbing the basket from the kitchen counter I began to fold Edwards clean boxers and socks and formed a small pile.
