{Coles POV}
My heart stopped. I didn't know what to think. I looked dead in her eyes, and walked away.
{Jordyns POV}
The way he looked at me made my stomach turn. He looked so hurt.
I turn back around to where I as facing Tyler again. He as mumbling something. All I could understand was, "I screwed up everything."
"What are you talking about?" I say rolling my eyes.
"I ruined everything for you." he says rubbing his temples.
"I dont get what your saying?" I say back to him looking confused.
"He..He was going to ask you out." He says running his hands through his hair.
I stand there processing what he just said.
I ran through the halls looking everywhere for him. I finally found him by his locker.
"Cole!" I yell while running up to him.
He turned around right when I got to him. "I'm so sor-" I tried to say but he interrupted me.
"Don't be, Its my fault. I had my chance for 2 years, and I blew it. I'm the one who should be apologizing." He said in a soft voice.
"No. I should be the one apologizing, and I am." I say eagerly. "I've been going through a lot lately and I just don't know. He made me think I was in love with him, but when I saw your face, everything thing I've ever felt about you came back in an instant. I've liked you since day one, Cole. Please don't let this happen. I can't handle another heart break at this point." I feel the tears building up inside. My eyes are getting foggy so I wipe them.
He looks at me with a shocked face just standing there.
Luckily my phone rang before any awkwardness came.
"Hello?" I answer.
"Is this Jordyn Beth?" I heard a man say through the phone.
"Yes. Who is this?" I reply.
"Jordyn, I have bad news."
"What is it?" I say eagerly.
"Its your mom, she's been in a horrible accident." there was a long pause before he continued. "She..She passed away. I'm so sorry."
