Looking back. It was probably my own fault that the evil spirit took me over in the first place. I was a rude priss because, honestly, I was jealous of my sister, Kaitlyn.
I'm sitting here brooding over this in my house when someone walks up behind me. "Hey sweetcheeks." Will.
I turn. "Hey Will." I smile at him. He has our daughter, Maria, in his arms. Odd to look at the beauty we created and think that she will one day create the beauty that created her. This daughter of mine is my own mother. So. Weird.
"Maria, say hi to mommy," he says handing the three-year- old to me.
"Hi mommy!" She says grabbing me. She kisses my cheek. "I love you!" I kiss her back.
"I love you too!"
I stand from my bed and bring her to her bedroom. When I close the door behind me, Will grabs my hand. He twirls me. I laugh and ask, "What's got you so exicited William?"
"You know I hate it when you use my full name, but right now, I don't care. I've found a way back to our time. We can go home!" he says giggling like a schoolgirl.
"Will," I begin. "Tell Kaitlyn I said hi."
"You're not coming with me?" He stares at the glare on my face and sighs. "Fine. I'll try to send someone back, but you need to help me get back there."
"Will, what about the girls? Are you just going to leave them fatherless?"
"No. Don't make me feel bad. I'll send Micheal back. I love Maria and Marie just as uch as you do, but I have to do this. For me. They're too young to remember they're actual father anyway."
"You're right... My mom always told me that Marie went evil because daddy ditched them."
"That is fixed. Which means that I have to leave!" He practically shouts. His voice softens. "You mean so much to me Katherine, but I'm in love with your sister."
Marie's door opens. "What are you talking about? I have an aunty? I want to meet her! Wait... is daddy leaving?"
"No!" we both say simultaneously. "We were running lines from an old movie... it's called..."
"The Songs," Will finishes. "It takes place in the sunny town of April, Kansas..."
"You're lying, but who cares." She turns on her heels and strides back into her room.
"Our daughter is extremely smart," Will says.
"I know," I reply. "Please. I'll miss you."
He kisses my cheek. "I know." He goes into our room.
"The Songs...isn't that a real movie?"
