Chapter5

Luckily, we all have enhanced hearing, so we hear her. I look at her and reply, just as silently, “What? Why do you think that?” She replies, “I saw them through the window behind me. They ran past it towards the door right there.” Then, she points at the door right behind her. All of a sudden, they ran past the door again and I saw them too.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention one thing. Remember that old saying that children never get away with anything because their mother has eyes in the back of her head. Well, we kind of have that. We can see behind us, even when facing the other way, which is why we can see the people running past the door behind us. but our eyes are not like visible or anything but we can see behind us.

“What should we do,” Izzie asks.

“What we do best . . . sneak up on them. Follow me.” I reply

We silently run to the door where we had seen them as they went past. We silently open the door. Then we walk, just as quietly, to the window about 3 feet behind them. Then, out of nowhere someone bursts out of the window and grabs us.

“What the heck?” I yelped as someone pulled a cover over my head and pulled me down the hill. I hear Cory yell furiously at our captures “ get your filthy hands off my girlfriend.” did he just call me his girlfriend I mean I don't think he was talking about Izzie she is 3 years younger than us to us she was like a little sisters. but i never thought of Cory like that but i guess there could be a big possibility. While I was thinking about all of this I stupidly let myself get stuffed into the back of a van, then I felt Cory and Izzie get stuffed in with me.
