I Watched Her

With out a doubt she was your personal superwoman.
Anything that you could possibly need or want she got for you without hestitation.
Somethings might have took time but she did it.
I watched her love you endlessly, made sure that you were always smiling.
I watched her make sure that you were always good even on your worst days.
I watched her battle demons, people, anything that wanted to get between you two.
I watched her cross tight ropes around everything that she wasn't used to, just to be with you.
I watched her because I saw the changes, I learned the signs, I saw that she was willing to be the best she could be.
Also hoping that you would see.
See I watched from a distance, day after day because now I was almost out of the picture.
I watched but never said a thing because she would run to your defense.

And then,
I watched her fall, without any safety net to catch her.
I watched her..
Change her ways once again not sure if to please you or her first.
I watched her cry,
Watched her scream,
Watched her sit in silence, slowly losing herself in all that she had made her self out to be.
Then I watched you, ever so careless to let everything go so easily.

So if you ever wonder why I've decided to keep my distance,
It's because I watched her.
