"It's soon..." I said softly while still staring at the beautiful bird filled sky.
"Very soon." He responded as his hand rested onto my larger stomach.
"Are you ready?" I asked as I turned my gaze to his.
"Yes. I am."
He smiled and brought his lips to mine. A soft kiss. Reassuring and loving... just like always.
And as he pulled away, a beautiful and small blue bird stood below our feet. Softly jumping towards our intertwined hands.
We both stayed silent as the bird watched us both until flying away and joining the others.
"I love you."
"I love you too."
