J.K POV
That same night, I was making my way to her doorstep. Jimin waiting on the side, hiding.
I knocked on the door and waited for her to answer.
She opened and stood there, silently looking at me.
"Hey..." I said awkwardly.
"Why are you here?" She said softly... never staring at my eyes.
"I wanted to apologize."
"For?"
"All of this. All the mysteries, the traveling, the letters, the cheating, the broken friendships, the lies, the hurtful words... all of it. I want it to go away. I want us to be us. Best Friends."
As I said that, I saw her head look up to my eyes as she smiled brokenly and began to cry.
She nodded and immediately jumped in my arms for a hug. A hug that I've missed.
"I love you so much Jungkookie... You're my best friend even with everything that has happened, I never stopped thinking about how it used to be."
I scoffed and began to cry on her shoulder.
"Well..." I heard from behind us. As I looked back I saw Jimin, walking up with a smile.
"I'm glad you guys are good now." He patted my shoulder and smiled at Y/N.
Y/N look at us both confused as I said, "We fixed things." She, then, smiled and grabbed us both into a big hug.
It was nice.
N.M POV
"but I don't anymore..." I thought about last night. The words I couldn't believe I had the courage to say.
"Oh my god. Oh my god. Finally." I exhaled and sat back in my chair looking up at the ceiling.
All that hatred, stress, sadness... it's gone.
I'm happy now.
I got up from my chair and grabbed my phone,
"NAMJOON??!!!"
"Hey! Meet me at my place in 10!"
In the next 20 Minutes was me running to my best friend, Jimin.
As I saw him at my doorstep, I ran and hugged him happily.
"Jimin."
"Yeah?"
"I did it. I'm happy now."
