coffee and signs

i hovered out of the place i call home and into the all night coffee shop. named 'coffee spectacular', it lived up to it's name. it really was spectacular. everyone knew bsl, they didn't treat us differently, they just thought of us as, well, us.

'hello, may i get a caramel macchiato, please?' i signed drowsily, gesturing that i was tired. she nodded and took off, creating the best caramel macchiato in the world. she gave me my drink and i payed. i started walking back to my table as soon as a tall brown-eyed man ran into me.

"i'm so sorry! I didn't mean to! oh my gosh, can i buy you another drink?" the brown-eyed man managed to mumble out.

'speak slower please', i signed.
