Ziva's POV
Tony and I stumbled out of the elevator with our suitcases crammed packed with everything we would need for our latest undercover operation. Gibbs had sent us home to pack and after running around the house looking for chargers and toothpaste, we finally made it back.
In the bullpen, Gibbs and McGee were huddled over his computer screen, going over the last minute details while they waited for us to return.
We quickly placed our suitcases behind our desks while McGee put all the details onto the screen where we could see it.
"This is Amber Mew where you are going to be staying" McGee explains as he points to a picture of a very modern street.
"You will be going undercover as Amelia and Michael Downing. You, Tony are the CEO of Architecture Bay, an architecture company. Ziva, you are a stay at home Mom but you used to work as a journalist for Solstice News" Gibbs tells us as McGee switches through the slides.
"Okay that's great boss, but how are we suppose to have children? You can't just make Ziva pop out a child whenever you want" Tony laughs but no one else joins in.
Gibbs walks behind Tony and gives his head a good slap.
"Oww!" Tony yelps as he runs the back his head where Gibbs' hand made contact.
"We are very aware of what you are... Implying Tony" Gibbs says with a smirk as he walks away from us and towards his desk.
He picks up his phone and dials a very familiar number.
"Abby, bring them in" he says before putting the phone down and stands with us again as they explain everything we need to know about the case.
As on cue, Abby appears as we finish with a young girl running ahead of her and a baby boy in her arms. It takes me a minute but then i realize who they are.
"Tali, Matthew?" I ask, surprised as i walk closer to them.
Tali runs down the stairs as fast as her little legs would take her and jumps into my arms.
"Ima, look!" she shouts happily as she throws her arms in the arm.
"Yes, i see that you're with Abby" i reply with a smile.
I put Tali back on the ground and as Abby walks past, i take Matthew from her arms and cuddle him in my own.
"Hey little one" i smile happily as i walk towards Dinozzo who now has a laughing Tali in his arms.
"Umm... Boss, why are our Kids here and not in daycare?" Tony asks as we walk back towards the screen.
"Because they are going with you" Gibbs replies as he takes Tali from Tony's arms.
"Wait... Isn't that dangerous. They could get hurt if something goes wrong" I explain, surprised.
"Yes Ziva we know that there is a risk but if they are there with you, you can protect them and if you don't blow your cover then they will be fine and so will you" Gibbs explains as he strokes Tali's long hair out of her face.
