I decided that we could walk to my secret date location.
It was really nice outside today.
Currently it was spring which is my favorite month, due to the trees and flowers blooming and blossoming beautifully.

As we walked I was at peace.

Ryan reached over and grabbed my hand, smiling at me as he did so.

I looked over at him smiling back as I locked my fingers with his.

"So can you tell me where we're going now?" Ryan said politely leaning over to kiss me on the temple.

"You're so cute, but no. It's a surprise remember?"

"Alright." Ryan sighed in defeat. Mock pouting in my direction.

I smirked

"Plus we're already there."

Ryan looked around his eyes growing wide.
We were currently stood atop of a large hill with a vast and beautiful overlook of the city.
Hardly anyone came up here anymore; there was no maintenance. Allowing the platform of the overlook to be covered in chaotically beautiful graffiti.

"Wow." Ryan breathed

"Wow." I said

"This was most certainly worth the wait." Ryan said giggling and making his way over to the graffiti covered edge.

I followed.

Compared to the last time I'd been here there were many more flowers growing all around, vines snaking through the railings of the ledge.

It was truly a beautiful sight.

Ryan and I sat down on the ground looking out at the busy city.

It was so quiet here.
Peaceful.
serene.

Ryan sat admiring the view.

"I just can't get over on how stunning the view is from up here."

"I know me neither." I said staring completely entranced in Ryan's awed state, not meaning the city in the least.

"You aren't even looking at..." Ryan paused realizing what I'd meant.

I soft blush crept to his face.

"Brendon how did I ever get so lucky as to find you?"

"I could honestly ask you the exact same thing."

"The first time I met you, when you came to the coffee shop and ordered my fabulous special." Ryan chuckled reminiscing on the first time we met.

Then he continued.

"You seemed like such an amazing person, so I crossed my fingers hoping I'd get to know you better. Little did I know that I'd be sitting here now you being my boyfriend. It just amazes me."

This time it was my turn to blush.

"Ryan Ross you are literally the sweetest human I've ever met." I laughed, smiling at the boy next to me.

I leaned over resting my head on his shoulder, and nuzzling my nose into his neck.

We stayed like that for a long time, happily, and contently silent.

We didn't have to speak.

The company of the other was enough.
