Chapter 6

Belle's POV

"So I'll pick you up at 5, yeah?" Harry's low voice came through muffled on the phone line which made me laugh.

"Yeah I'll see ya then."

"Ok bye bye Belles." Harry mused in a childish voice.

"Bye bye Dweeb."

Harry groaned

"I'm not a dweeb!"

"That's exactly something a dweeb would say."

"Whatever Tinker Belle see ya later."

Harry hung up the phone and the smile stayed present on my lips. Harry and I had been fake dating for three days now and it had blown up all over the world. Once the fans found my twitter I gained about 100K followers in the first day but I hadn't tweeted anything for about a month.

Thank god they found my personal twitter and NOT my fan account. I would never hear the end of it from Harry, never.

At the meeting on Monday once management came back into the room, I had to sign a privacy agreement and they wanted to make sure I had a twitter so that fans could reach me and see what I did. Surprisingly management had no doubts that Harry and I were a couple and no objections. So long as Harry was dating someone they were happy.

Dorothy was still in her afternoon class which I thanked the Lord for because I didn't need to hear anymore of her ass-kissing attempts to be my friend so she could meet One Direction.

It was currently 2:30pm and I needed to finish the last paragraph of my English essay for tomorrow and then get ready in two and a half hours for this charity ball.

This event tonight wasn't just an event, it was a full on masquerade ball. I'm going to a ball. And there's going to be an orchestra and dancing and food and raising money for some organization that funded orphanages around the world. Plus I get to dress like a princess and go with someone who looks like prince, major bonus.

Except it was fake.

That's what I have to keep telling myself, Harry and I are fake. If I start thinking whatever goes on between us is real then I'll be in danger because I know it won't be real to him.

And I'm still not ready for a real boyfriend, even if that relationship could be with Harry Styles. Jacob messed me up too good last year to be ready for that so soon.

I finished the term paper within thirty minutes and by 3:00 I was in the shower, and blow drying my hair by 3:15. My hair dried into it's natural waves which I accentuated with a curl definer and left my hair down for the time being.

I returned to my dorm to see Dorothy sitting on her bed, but for once she ignored me when I walked in except for a friendly smile which I returned. When I had started applying my eyeshadow she spoke up.

"Hey Belle?"

"Mhmmm." I said, finishing applying a coat of pink champagne eyeshadow.

"I just wanted to say that, that I'm sorry for tweeting everything about that night that you had told me. I'm sorry I didn't know that would bring so much paparazzi here." She brushed a piece of her blonde hair behind her ear and her brown eyes looked sincere. I gave her a soft smile and replied.

"It's alright, I forgive you, we all make mistakes."

"Do you think we could start over, and just try and be friends?" Her voice wasn't dripping with superficiality like normal, it was sincere and she sounded a bit nervous.
