Helen of course spent most of the time, at Oliver's side, Nikola would often come sit with her, bring her something to eat and drink, it was mainly because he did care, that he did love her, that he didn't want to let her get ill. But with that being said he was still his usual amorous self, flirting inappropriately with her, but she secretly enjoyed that. Although she would never admit that to his face, it would only spur him on, and he didn't exactly need any coaxing. He was doing fine on his own.
It took more than 3 days before Oliver woke up, Helen as usual had fallen asleep in the medical bay, the only difference being this time, was that Nikola had moved her to a bed in the same room, and he laid with her and held her. She did try to move at first, but she soon settled his arms around her and she slept soundly.
Helen startled a little when she heard Oliver start to wake, she got up and she placed her hand on the young boys, and she offered a warm reassuring smile. He was clearly scared and she didn't want him to be and she soon said stroking his head
"it's okay your safe now Oliver, your in the sanctuary, my name is Helen Magnus, it's okay"
Oliver was naturally a little worried, but there was also something about Helen he trusted. The warmth in her eyes, that smile that made everything seem like it was all going to be okay. She had that effect on anyone, she was always very welcoming, she didn't fear anything. Even if it was dangerous, she prefered to study it. Figure out what was making it act the way that it was.
"What do you remember, Oliver about the circumstances, that brought you here to my sanctuary?"
It was a gentle enough question, she wouldn't push him too hard, or be too hard on him. Like Nikola had so graciously asked her to do. She had a more gentle touch, she always had,it was something that she was certainly known for. It was why Abnormals trusted her so much.
"i have never heard of this thing you call Sanctuary, Helen am i safe here"
Helen nodded softly as she looked to him, he was of course safe here, it was the safest place for him, in fact. She kept many people, species everything safe here, they came because they knew it was a place they could be safe. That they wouldn't be judged just because they are different to everyone else. She herself was just as different, being 279 years old, she had certainly led a somewhat colourful life.
"for as long as you wish to remain here, and it will be at least until you recover, you will always be safe here Oliver, you have my word"
Helen watched as the young boy seemed to look at her,he was afraid naturally but he also knew he could trust her too, and he found that to be an odd thing, he felt the maternal nature of Helen and he then spoke
"your a mother aren't you i can tell?"
"yes i am a mother i have five children, Ashley Magnus and Nathan Magnus, my eldest, Natalya Helena Tesla the middle child and twins at three months old called Isabella Ashley and Daniel Henry Magnus-Tesla"
Oliver watched as she spoke, there was a safety here, that Oliver had not felt in a very long time but be liked it, there as sense of family.
"Have i thanked you, for saving my life i mean, because that's what you did, i didn't break anything did j?"
Helen seemed to chuckle Oliver had clearly amused her, or at least said something which had, she simply smiled before then stroking the young boys head.
"You simply gave me a start, you did appear in my living room quite unexpectedly, but as far as i know, you didn't break anything, why do you ask, it seems like that seems to happen a lot to you Oliver, a regular occurrence if you will"
"i try to not let it be a regular thing, but it does seem to happen to me a lot, maybe i am just an unlucky person i think that it runs in my family" Oliver confessed softly, Helen understood it though it wasn't like her own family didn't exactly seem cursed,or even herself cursed, or blessed it depended on the day, what her own perspective was, it varied depending on her day.
